In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sorry to hear that Tom, I remember how hard high school was, I hope things get better for you!

I'm sorry to hear that... my son is 16 and he HATES school. I know he will be thrilled when it's done. I'm just hoping he can stick it out to get his diploma. I hated public school too, and I must say, I have enjoyed every single day of my life more since getting out of there. Try to hang in there. It's amazing to me that that sort of thing (like you mentioned in the lunchroom) is allowed to go on in the first place. I try to imagine how we as adults would react to the same sort of crap if it happened at the office.

Hey Tom, Sorry to hear that. We have talked about what was going on and I understand how that could happen. Being a teenager in HS can suck and I know you feel like the world is going to end. But try to keep a positive outlook. Things will get better and you won't always feel like this. They don't call them growing pains for nothing. All the things you go through in HS and in your live as a kid teaches you how to deal with the world when you are an adult. I promise it won't always be like this.

I was one of those kids that HATED high school as well. Every damn minute of it. I generally got along better with the teachers than most of the students (with the exception of a few friends). High school sucked but the college I'm in now has people a lot more mature and life goes on... those people that were jerks and the 'cool' crowd are now the same people I see working at taco bell still... so don't worry about it. You'll be fine.

Hang in there

It's funny how most of us did not like school while we were young, now that i have been out for quite a while, i wish i would have exerted more energy towards learning.. Especially in the Science and Biology classes, cuz if your into herps these can be good classes to know especially when it comes to the Punnett Square, Geeeeeez what a mind boggler :willy_nil :willy_nil :willy_nil .. So hang in there and learn as much as you can.. Make sure you get that Diploma, i know alot of my friends that did not, and they had a pretty rough time after getting out of school.. Good Luck and God Bless.. Mike Leonard

Man.High school does suck.Just 2 more years and im gone.I like milwaukee get along better with teachers than most students. Its ok though.Man if some one tried beefen it with me.Idm kick their ass.which is what im guessing you did.best of lukc wiht that man.It will be over soon.I cant wait.

Hmm, that's interesting. I like high school; like is a relative term here I guess as I like it as much as I possibly can for what it is, so hey. But I am definitely looking forward to life after this!

Or maybe I just disliked elementary school so much that this seems great by comparison -- but I doubt it; I think I genuinely like HS.

It's a bit alarming & a bit sad to hear you guys talk about how HS ends up being a blink of the eye in the grand scheme of things...because I understand that you're right & that's basically going to be how it works out!

Anyways...NY Gecko, I do hope things improve for you & sorry for my slightly OT post :)

HS always sucked, I'm just glad it's done and over, I was always one who stayed to myself and hid from the drama. Although there was that one kid who harrassed me for 6 months and I finally snapped and threw him into a brick wall, a teacher saw it and sent me to the office....but after I told the principal what happened, he got suspended, not me LOL

The nerve of that guy - didn't even throw any veggies or bread at you - to balance out the meal nutritionally!

The nerve!

LOL.

Keep your head up - and breathe through the anger. This too shall pass

WEll, turns out daddyo aint that pissed at me for doing what i did. he was mad it took 4 security guards to restrain me and that i didnt stop when they tried to grab me. I've only lost my computer rights, so right now im at a friends. I'll be back to posting come thursday, im only punished for the duration of my school sanctioned "vacation"

LOL, you handed it to some guy who was bugging you & it took four security guards to restain you; yet you're out at a friend's house on a Friday...doesn't sound like too bad of a deal :D

not at all, the only thing i lost was the computer so i wasnt having TOO MUCH of a good time off. But saturday=grandparents and reprieve from that. gaming!!!!!

haha yeaaaah.
I actually relatively like school too. Again, it is a relative like, and compared to other things I enjoy it would seem as if I hated it because school isn't something Id rather be doing than sports, or other outdoorsy type things. But I don't mind waking up every morning to go learn.
I guess it all depends what kind of school you go town. I live in a relatively small town, and there are 700 or less kids in my school and everybody basically knows everybody. Not to say that everyone likes everyone, but whatever. I have a good group of friends, and the baseball team so it's all good.
