Have a couple of male Angola pythons (Python anchietae) from a September 2023 hatch that produced some really nice color and patterns from an unrelated adult pair that had not been bred before. I have one of the most diverse breeding groups of Angola pythons in the country and strive to outcross and produce young from as unrelated adults as possible, and have been working with adult breeders from 5 different sources across the U.S. This breeding group has been consistently producing some of the nicest Angola pythons available in the U.S. for many years with respect to both color and pattern. Angola pythons always hatch with a very dark chocolate background pattern, but always color-up significantly over their first two to three years with each subsequent shed. These two are coloring up very nicely and both are feeding very well on small rats or adult mice.
As a personal policy to ensure vigorous and genetically robust hatchlings, I never manually pip any python eggs. They must pass the test of piping the egg and extracting themselves on their own.
I currently only have these two males available, and they are priced at $475 each.
