• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My response to him:
I will definately check when I get home. Now, let me ask you this. If you are sending these out to people that signed up on one of your sites why would I be getting it at 3 different addresses? I only sell animals via the one this message was sent to, period. Why would I as a business use one of my other personal accounts or a webmaster account for one of my sites to conduct business relating to my herp business?

I just received second one from this "person." And like the rest of you, I have NEVER used my business email to sign up ANYWHERE besides here and KS. This guy is a spammer, pure and simple. Gratefully, he is shooting himself in the foot by spamming the very people he needs to make his venture successful.

I did a little more digging and what did I find? Our friend Ray is actually registered here on Fauna and has that monkey posted in a classifed.

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/member.php?u=16943

The email address, [email protected] , is the same as in the domain registration. Ray has been on Fauna today so I wonder why he has not responded to this or the other thread?

Could it be because you are a LIAR Ray when you say we all signed up on one of your sites?

Guess what Ray, by not having a street address for snail mail requests to be removed, you are violating the Can Spam Act.

For anyone that would like to complain to his ISP about the spam, the IP the email I received came from 65.10.90.29. That is a Bell South Miami IP address. And what a coincidence, Ray registered for this site from a Bell South Miami IP address.

I am moving this back into the BOI. This guy is a lying spammer, plain and simple and needs outed.

This POS spammed three more of our addresses today alone. I'm reporting him as soon as I am done writing this post, I suggest everyone do the same. It would be such a shame to have poor ray attempt to login to his account and find he is no longer receiving internet service. tisk tisk tisk....

How pathetic........

I just filed my report to BellSouth and included a link to this thread.

The email to report abuse is [email protected] . If they get enough complaints they should terminate his service.

I also got the email

I received the email today about the site. I never signed up for it just like the rest of you guyz.

Same here

I received the email today about the site. I never signed up for it just like the rest of you guyz.

So did I and I never ever clicked on his site. He might be getting the e-mail addresses from this site. Maybe by building a "buddy list"?

Regards.

Now he's trying to buy me off......lame.
I found the problem. I checked the DB and it has (2) addresses:

[email protected] (and) [email protected]

While its the same address, it appears the dupe checker is flawed, as it failed to check/cross reference for the case sensitive address.

I apologize that you have received multiple mailings. The intent was never for that to occur.

Let us make it up to you by giving you a bit of free advertising. If you have a banner ad (160 x 260) we'll give you 25,000 impressions. If you do not have a banner of this size, forward to us your standard banner, and i'll have one of the guys in tech create one for you from it.

Again, apologies on the multiple messages.

Not even if he gave me 25,000 for EACH of my 10 sites.........I don't support spammers or their practices.
