In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently received my AP Incubator http://www.animalplastics.com/ and hooked it up to a Herpstat Thermostat http://www.spyderrobotics.com/ I placed five thermometers including one Nist Certified FRIO-Temp Enviro-Safe™ Incubator Thermometer http://www.coleparmer.com/catalog/product_view.asp?sku=0807759&pfx=EW

I must say I’m very impressed with this incubator as the Herpstat maintained the temperature inside with minus 1-degree fluctuation and was uniform throughout.

The incubator can hold 16 Sterilite 1717 boxes that can be purchased at WalMart . http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-12.7-Quart-Modular-Latch-Box-Set-of-6/11014790

that's a pretty nice looking one. i've been contemplating on purchasing one... but haven't heard feedback until now and didn't want to be a guinea pig. haha

I tried researching this unit before and haven't noticed any type of review so I thought it would be a good idea to give it one.

Animal Plastics should update there site and include a little more details such as inside dimensions, shelve dimensions, spacing between the shelves etc

Rest assured you'll be satisfied with this incubator.

I had mine delivered fully assembled because I didn't want to bother putting it together. :D

That's a nice size box too. I was hoping it wasn't designed for the little 6qt jobs. Although if you like that size you could probably fit 6 or 9 per shelf for around 24 or 36 boxes total.

We've had our AP incubator for about a week now. We also ordered it in black to match the rest of our racks. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and I am very happy with it :) So far it's been holding temps very well within one degree top to bottom.

Cool, I ordered mine in white for a clean look.

Let me know how you like the incubator once you get it set up, are you putting it together yourself or getting it assembled?

I am picking it up assembled, Mark and Ali's shop is only about 20 minutes from me here in central Iowa and it is much easier to just have them assemble it so I don't have to worry about messing anything up lol.

That's very convenient not having to travel very far to get your incubator. I had mine delivered assemble sorta for the same reasons.

Thanks Steve. I have not need for it this year with only a few clutches, my cooler incubator is working fine. I'd like to get this this fall though so my daughter can use the cooler for her Geckos.

Thanks again!

Brian

This thread is very helpful as I am thinking about picking one up this fall. I will have about 16 clutches next season so I need something that can hold lots of eggs! There are many places out there that seem to build bigger incubators. Thanks for the feedback!

AP is a great company, Mark and Ali are great people and their products are IMO superb. Charlene, you'll be able to check out my incubator when you get back and come pick up this albino girl!

Bob, I can't wait to come up and not only pick up the albino girl but check out your setup. I am always wanting to meet more people in the business and make friends. Should be seeing you around the end of July!
