In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Animal Plastics

Good company

I have ordered a bunch of racks from AP and have been very pleased with the received product as well as their customer service. All shipments have been delivered on time or before and they were even able to add in an additional rack for me with little notice given to them on my part. The racks have held up well for me and I reccomend them to anyone looking for a quality built rack system.

Ive dealt with Animal Plastics and Im 100% satisfied with them. I picked up several T-25's awhile back. Mark and Ally (i believe her name was) were excellent help to me, best costumer service I ever seen. Prices were fair and delivery went well. Cages were easy to assemble and they hold heat, humidity and retics well.

i live in the same town as mark and allie, and when i got into reps, they sold me my first 3 snakes, and they were retics! then i invested in there cages and i also was not disapointed!theyre very good about responding to every question i had about off the wall questions, and it was within hours! the only time i was disapointed was when they closed there pet store in johnston to put all there time into ap cages.

sincerely,

josh

I purchased 2 T-10's from AP oooooh I guess it's been 2 months ago by now. The order went smoothly and I was notified when they shipped. When they arrived I found one set of doors shattered. The other set packed identically (and quite impressively I might add) were in perfect condition. I called and was informed that they would send me out a new set of doors. Actually couldn't believe it at first and I asked if I needed to send the broken glass back. I was told that wasnt necessary. There was a slight delay in the shipping of the new doors but I am a patient person and anytime I called or E-mailed the response was an answer on the phone or a reply E-mail with in a few minutes.
Customer service at AP is second to none.

I just recieved a 1960 sterilite rack and I was also impressed with everything - customer service, packing and the product.

Animal Plastic Top Notch Company

I have posted before about the 2 racks I got from them. Well since then I had two situations come up.

1. I did not assemble the hatchling rack until about a year later, I ordered them with the casters. They were not included with the rack, mind you this happened about a year after I got them. They said sorry and I got them in about 3 days. Now this is what customer service is all about.

2. This past Monday November 6 I had an escape by one of my adult Hondo that are brumating. No it did not escape from one of their RACKS. I just did not secure the lid well and if got out, it was in one of my homemade racks. It managed to push out 2 of my hatchling containers out and allowed 2 of my other snakes to escape. I found her in one of them. I call Animal Plastic that same day and asked them if there was a way to prevent this from happening. They said yes, so I ordered the clips and got them yesterday November 9, Fed Ex. I will be putting them on the racks after I finish writting this. Their customer service is the best there is.

I put the clips on and for sure there will not be any more escapes!!!!

You might want to go back and add your full name to all of your posts on the Board on Inquiry, if it is not there they will be deleted.

Just got off the phone from making a large transaction with Animal Plastics. Everything went great, not only are their cages fantastic, their employees dedicated and won't hesitate to answer any questions you have.

A++

Another great transaction!

I just want to say another "thank you" to the folks at Animal Plastics. I ordered a rack shortly before Christmas. After I got off the phone with them, I realized that I'd be out of town when they shipped. So I called them back and asked them to delay shipping until I'd be home to receive them. They were great about it, shipped on the date I asked them to, and the racks got here a couple days after I got home. And, as usual, the rack is great, its a little one, so I had it together in about 15 minutes!

Thanks again guys!

I have 3 of their Iris 900 racks and have started the quoting process for some 6' cages. My previous exposure via friends to racks of similiar style from other companies were of cheap and flemsy materials so I had some doubts. Well these are definitely different and top notch. I like the new style alot and everything fits nicely with no warping or large gaps. Assembly was very easy due to the illustrated directions and customer service was also top quality.

I'll definitely be going with AP for several follow on orders.

I recently picked up a couple of new racks from AP, and was very impressed with both the quality and what nice guys they were to deal with. We got to look at some of the big cages they were working on while we were there, and was doubly impressed with those. The other half discussed designing some custom cages with them, and they certainly know what they are talking about! The only issue I had was that they took longer than expected to get them finished.....but in the end, the quality can't be beat for the price, and I think I will be buying my racks and cages exclusively from AP in the future!

this is overdue, but i bought a rack from animal plastics about two months ago and all went great. the customer service, the product, the shipment, all done with consumate professionalism. thanks to animal plastics for being a great place to buy from! if anyone would like pics or any other questions, feel free to email me, as i would definitely recommend the company and product whole heartedly.

i have 3 cages due in 2 days and have no worrys. ive looked and seen what is important customer service. Dallas Spergin.

WOW!!!

I've been doing some long hard research for some cages over the past 2 weeks. I have read reviews and forums on just about every cage maker out there. I have even contacted local carpenters to build me wooden cages.

I want 15 48X24X24 cages (T12 AP size) and was really wondering about Animal plastics. I've been working with Ali and she has been great!!! GREAT GREAT GREAT... GREAT! She has answered all my questions by e-mail and even sat on the phone with me for about 10 minutes as I finished asking all my questions. She never once made me feel rushed or that I was taking up her time.

I have not ordered yet and I still have another company I might go with if I can't work out a deal with AP but it's good to hear nothing but good things about this company.

This is more than a hobby to me, it's a passion and I want to really show off my snakes in a nice enclosure. I would love to see pictures of peoples AP cages.

Those who got the under belly heat, what do you think?

Also...

If I do decide to go with AP I will post my thoughts on the product here as most of you have. So far everything has been great...

Belly heat is doing good and the pattern they have the heat cable in allows for gradients on both front/back and side/side. I also went at the far end with a flourescent light and heat panel on the top so I can simulate the sun.

the light, it's not an issue with the snakes? I wasn't sure if I should put one in the cage or not.

As long as your snakes have some sort of light cycle in the room in which you have the cage, an in cage light is more for your benefit than theirs. ;)

Of course, you mentioned earlier that you wanted to "show off [your] snakes in a nice enclosure." In that case, go with the light...it will look way better for display purposes. ;) :yesnod:

Oh yeah...and for what it's worth, you won't be sorry if you go with AP. Their products, and service are second to none. I only wish that I had more of their racks and cages (and I have a LOT). :)
