    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does anyone personally know this “Ann frank” and has anyone done any deals with her? I saw a post where she was claiming to be scammed by Bob Sloan and her classified ads all seem a bit sketchy to me. She also seems to get quite defensive and rude when questioned about it. This is from one of her ads

I'm sorry for any inconvenience but I am not set up for PayPal ATM... I could possibly accept a PayPal payment via a friends account etc. Otherwise it's postal mo or $gram or Walmart to Walmart etc. I have several references, I'd be happy to provide.

** I may or may not ask you to leave the postal mo blank*** If this is a problem for you , I do apologize, I understand it's not the norm. I can and will provide you with references.

There's been some recent chatter about her in FBI for the wording in her ads, and colubrid groups regarding her bad husbandry. Long story short - she wants you to send an open USPS MO because "Ann Frank" isn't her real name.
 
She is a real person, she has proven this before. She had CREDIBLE breeders in the colubrid world willing to vouch for her. I swear I have never seen such nonsense in my life. You people are upset that someone request to be paid some way other than PayPal? She is openly advertising that she wants paid another way and has explained why she wants paid alternatively. Does PayPal pay you people to be this offended by someone choosing to no longer use them? I mean. My god.

I had no problem paying a postal money order as stated but then was asked to leave it blank (as I am not protected) when I asked numerous times to have a name to put on it she flat out told me no. Also she started she would use a friends PayPal so I asked her for that as giving her the benefit of doubt that it was not a scam. Well she told me it is to much work for her and she had someone who wanted to do Walmart to Walmart.(which she never did as it was reposted about an hour after our conversation.) I have documentation as all of this and if you go on other forums there are other people who have other run ins.

I have pictures of our conversation when there was many red flags. Also there are plenty other people out there saying the same thing I am.

Here's a screenshot, Terry Walter is a very well known and respected member of our community. Here is his speaking with ann, he was talking with her about the post made in Colubrids classifieds. Joking with her, as he knows her personally, she just did a deal with him in person. Anyone who sees this thread can CONTACT this man and he will vouch for Ann. Anyone who wishes to continue with what is literally just hearsay can be judged by their peers I suppose.

Did it ever occur to you maybe that someone didn't want to give out their personal information? She wanted a blank name slot, you would have been just fine had you asked her for her references. If someone feels like you aren't the suitable buyer for them they have every right to decline you at any point up until currency is transferred.

I did ask for references and she gave me one who was her friend and wouldn’t give me any other. She said if I wasn’t happy with the one then I could move on.
I am the one who turned down the deal because I wasn’t going to get scammed. And when I talked to other people I was told to stay away. You can believe what you want however she gave me her address but won’t give me a name to put on the money order to make us covered. Then there is something fishy.

Then post your proof, I posted solid evidence that she is not at all a scammer and does just fine in deals with others.

Ohhhh your the one that started all this in the first place Caitlin. I was her reference you turned down and had you just come to me I could have passed this all along to you in the first place.

She decided to pass on selling to you because you were so rude about contacting her reference. Is it normal for you to fly off the handle like this?

Do you consider it unreasonable for a buyer to expect to know the identity of the person he or she would be doing business with?

Why are you so excited about this? The responses seem personal from the intensity applied.

As a courtesy, I will make a couple reminders. Be sure to upload image files directly to this site (not Tapatalk). Also, any restated claims should have attribution (names, basically) so as not to venture into the territory of anonymous third-party quotations. Thank you.
 
For reference of the thread, Ann posted an add, the one the OP took a quote from infact. I posted for reference under Ann's add,and yes while I am friends with Ann...I am still capable of giving an honest opinion of her dealings. A lady name Caitlin rice wanted to purchase from ann but then did not want to contact me as a reference for her own reasons. If she had just contacted me like was asked this all would have been avoided. I assume roy rice is either Caitlin on another account or someone related to her.

Charles, for me the wisest course is to listen to one's gut feelings. There is no need to go as far as calling her a scammer, but I would never do a blank postal money order. That does send up red flags.
Give it a few years, time will tell. Until then, there are plenty of good breeders with fine snakes at competitive prices with good track records and who accept PayPal or other forms of payment that have some buyer protection. Just don't do business with her.
If no one buys from her because it is deemed uncertain and/or risky, I guarantee she will change her tune.

That by itself if true would make me pass, if people don't care enough to take care of their critters, that's a bad sign of future things.
 
As for "Roy Rice", expect a PM and stop responding until that matter has been handled. Real names are the rule here.
