In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Another FAKE pastel ad from Geni Mullins

Part of the explanation is probably the ole' mighty dollar. People are more tempted to take the risk of being caught because the outrageous prices some of these snakes are going for. The other thing is that now, and thanks to the internet, there are a lot more people aware of what a certain morph looks like and can recognize when a normal ball is just that. Just my opinion.

Best regards.
:)

Can someone do a screen print for me? I want to delete the ad link but can't get a screen print to work.
Thanks.

Here ya go...

This is too funny. The quote below is from the ad for a burmese python advertised by this person as well.
Very Docile, easy to handle, loves to go to Petco!

Also, I emailed them this morning regarding the pastel but the never responded. The new burm ad was placed tonight so they were online. Guess they don't care to respond about the normal listed as a pastel.

Damn, is Al rubbing off on me?:D

LOL, funny funny funny.

I seen the ad as well. I also saved it incase these clowns continue to post like Cantsbell and patches.

I think these BS artists NEED to be called out. I was away most the weekend and would have put them up here sooner or later anyway.

P.S., Denny, bleach will not work.....lol

Hummmmmmmmm, doesn't say "pastel jungle," doesn't cost $1500 plus, and is admittedly a "nice reduced pattern, high yellow." Just one more example of why "pastel" is way to general. The ad speaks for itself gentlemen. If someone is actually shopping for a "pastel jungle," they will be familiar w/ the costs of said animal. As a baby costs $1500, don't you think most people would be able to discern the difference between this "pastel" and the "pastel jungle" morph? Or do you have that little faith in the brain power of the rest of the human race? I mean, I know the "Brotherhood of the Ball" is superior to the rest of us in many ways, but come on, anyone can tell just what that snake is.

Brian,

First off there is no difference in the morph Pastel and Pastel Jungle. They are both synonymous with the same morph. Pastel and Pastel Jungle are both named for the proven co-dominant genetic color morph. With that said I wrote this person letting them know that the pictures do not show a Pastel Animal. She wrote me back and said that she purchased this animal at a Bob Clark show as a Pastel animal. What I feel happened is maybe she purchased it as a "Pastel Sibling" and is confused as to what the difference is.

Why do you say that? We purchased him almost 2 yrs ago at a Bob Clark show we went to that seen him as a pastel ball python? Everyone at the last show we went to that seen him agreed that he is a beautiful "Pastel".

I see it the same way, some call them pastels and others call them pastel jungles.

I myself call them pastels, and it does seem to cause some confusion at times, but it is a proven morph so you would figure people could think of other discriptive words for the normals that are light looking.

Rob, That's sounds nice when you say it fast, but being that I know you do shows, and deal w/ the public on a daily basis, YOU KNOW the public throws around the term "pastel" like candy at a parade. Therefor, there is a difference between "pastel" and "the pastel jungle morph." You and everyone else who has invested heavily in the pastel jungle morph, can stamp your feet, fold your arms, and shake your heads all you want, but you know it won't work. Past examples Okeetee, creamsicle, ring a bell?

The animal is pictured, the animal is being sold WELL below market value of a "pastel jungle" and I don't think it's at all confusing. Obviously neither did any of you, or we wouldn't be having this conversation. It is not a "pastel jungle morph" but it does have a light hew. "Pastel," with the pics, and the price is not an unfair description. IMHO

Just out of curiousity could someone post a pic of a "real" pastel ball so the non-ball people can see what they are supposed to look like? A nice side by side comparison might help out a lot of people reading this, so they can see the difference.
THanks A Lot

Adult male breeder. ( I sold this animal a while back, but got to use him again this season)

I can spot a pastel from a mile away. I think that most of these ads are just people trying to make a quick buck when they know damn well the animal being sold is not a pastel.
