    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know there's a million of them out there, but if it helps just one person feed one animal, it'll have been worth the sharing :)
This small trick helped me get 2 new tough eater babies and a tough eater breeder female to eat frozen thawed food items!

1) Thaw your frozen prey item as you usually would. (We soak ours in hot water)
2) Before you give them to your animal, find an old hairdryer (yes, a hairdryer.) Make sure it's a working hairdryer, that heats.
3) Turn it on the highest setting it will go heated. Hold the prey item in front of it as close as you can get it to the on hairdryer, without actually touching the dryer. Move it over the item, to heat it evenly (We mostly focus on the head area).
4) When you think it feels warm enough, as it should have when it was alive, give it a shot!! To your reptile's heat sensing it should appear to be alive now! It also couldn't help to wiggle it a little. It may look silly to you, but I'm sure it looks great to your reptile :D

It all my sound silly to you, but who's to say if your desperate you wouldn't give it a shot if nothing else works :thumbsup:

Hope it helps someone!!
