    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hello i have purchased a kritter keeper rack from Anthony Caponetto website. and it was said to arrive in 10 days so after 15 days i sent him emails with no return. every 5 day after sending the last email i would dend another. i have tryed sending hom emails from the contact me part of his website and a reply from the email he sent me when it was processed. im starting to get frustrated with this guy.

does any body have his phone number or somthing i can contact him with other than email because he dosent seem to reply to those.

i had a transaction with anthony about a year ago that went great. i recieved 2 yearling albino sinaloans in great shape. i just checked his business card that came with the snakes but no phone number, just the email that you already have. sorry i couldn't help.

Very easy, if you paid with paypal or CC just dispute the charges for non delivery and they will credit your acct. :)
 
There's a common theme of poor communication from this vendor.

Many of us have purchased nice animals from Caponetto, but some of us haven't had the best communication.

It will probably work out just fine. You could probably start a paypal claim to get his attention but then he might get mad at you.

Some of his groupies will be here shortly to tell you that he's busy and that you should understand.

well, i dont know what the situation is but i know his forum website is down also. something could have happened and he hasnt been online lately. if you look at the highlighted area, your payment was processed by paypal but does not show it has been recieved or removed. could you show an email where it has been taken out of paypal? paypal will show it has been removed from your account. i bought a computer 3 weeks ago and i still have not recieved it but i also havent been charged for it either even though i sent payment through paypal the day of purchasing.
 
Oh, and it's no excuse for lack of communication but at this time of year is rather very busy for some of the larger breeders.
 
I has the almost the same thing happen with me when I purchased that rack. He doesn't have any in stock and doesn't make them. He only advertises for barrs cages and gets a comission. It took a long time to ge here and I confirmed the time frame before I paid and ordered for mine.

My suggestion is if you really want this rack than just ride it out and you will have it. I did not have a phone number and asked several times for a phone call. Still no excuse for lack of communication, unless he is still having some problems with his email.

he could be, i know his forum carpetpythons.net is messed up right now also. hopefully everything with him is ok. i'm going to wait for an email or something showing the payment was completed. paypal will show it as completed when the money has been taken from his account. right now all i see is it is processed so untill its actually received and completed the item hasnt officially been payed for yet so that would be no wrong doing between either of the 2 parties other than lack of communication.

The one thing I've learned in my short time in the reptile hobby that a quality website doesn't mean the person is actually legit.. I refuse to purchase from anyone without establishing personal communication first.
 
Anthony has been having issues with his e-mail for awhile now so I would e-mail him at his other sales e-mail address as well. I ordered geckos from him in the fall that arrived just fine and couldn't be happier. You may also want to contact the manufacturer of the racks to see what the deal is since he is acting as a third party.

I totally dropped the ball on this and I'll take full responsibility. This order should have been delivered no later than the 16th, so I assumed that it was already delivered (trust me...most people aren't patient enough to wait two extra weeks). There were actually a handful of book and rack orders that didn't go through when I sent them over to my vendors through the cart system...I thought we had all of those sorted out a couple weeks back, but obviously not. Needless to say, there's still apparently a gap in communication that needs to be addressed.

In any case, I've never ripped anyone off and I certainly don't want Corbin to feel as though he's gonna be the first, so I sent a refund as soon as I heard about this. I wouldn't normally cancel an order without asking, but as much as I hate to say it, this order has literally gone nowhere...meaning we won't lose any time if Corbin decides to re-order the rack.

FYI, I did have some email problems (essentially too much volume for the type of server setup we had), but that has been fixed as of about two weeks ago (had it all switched over to an IMAP setup). I do have an email from Corbin about the order, but that came in on Friday at 5pm and today is the first day I've checked my work email since Friday when I got off work.

My sincerest apologies to Corbin...had I been aware of this before now, I would've definitely straightened it out. 10 business days is actually meant to give us a little extra time, but the racks usually get there in around a week.

Like DanielleC Says, it's most likely an issue with the manufacturer- I was looking into those racks as well, and it looks like he's OK, but the manufacturer hasn't had the 10 minutes to box one up and send it out for you- maybe mention to him that his manufacturer isn't exactly making him look good?
 
I too am waiting on a couple deli cup displays that i ordered on the 13th that have yet to arrive on today the 31. I was counting on these displays to have made it by last weekend so i could vend the SC Repticon Show, but they did not arrive, and have not heard anything about when they will ship. I SERIOUSLY need them by this weekend. I have ALOT of acrylic displays already, but needed these for some other items and ease of setting up at the show, but......... I suppose i will be waiting for some time.
Needless to say it is a bit of a dissapointment when the website says within 10 business days and here it is almost double that now.

my wife ordered the acrylic 3 tier show display with case for me as a birthday gift on March 9Th today April 1st and still no delivery. Whats going on here MR.Caponetto????? if i spend 300 plus dollars i expect them to be delivered on time. i have missed 3 shows that i needed those boxes for now and after next week it will be 4. i really liked those display cases and was planning on buying a full show set up from you but i have reconsidered. you should really get on your manufacturer.

That too is a bit ridiculous. I have e:mailed with no response as most all the others are complaining about as well.
No phone #. I have a friend that says he has anthony's number but isn't allowed to give it out???
Anthony may not be making these himself, but he is advertising and selling them so in my opinion it refelcts not only poorly on his manufacturer, but himself as well. Don't advertise 10 business days if in fact there is a chance that it will be much more than that. He's causing me to miss shows as well, and that eats into my pockets. If i would have known this, i would have most certainly paid the extra money and went with Superior Enterprise to buy my displays. I however DO NOT want a refund, i just want what i paid for......

I just got a reply from Anthony, and must say it was great to hear from him. I don't think Anthony to be a bad guy and i would and will continue to do future business with him. I just think he needs to get his manufacturers butts in gear as it reflects poorly upon himself, and i only know of Anthony to be a good guy in this business.
Yes, i was aggravated about this situation as i needed those displays, but... He is going to make it right and that is all that matters to me.
