    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A couple of them did not want to post here because they have had death threats made against them by Anthony and have no desire to ever have to see or talk to him again let alone deal with that kind of bs.

I apologize, I guess I thought that since you said you had "all of the emails" or something to that extent, I thought there were more emails regarding the deal. If indeed there was no more to it....I guess I have nothing more to contemplate. :shrug01:
 
And I still have not even said as much as "Anthony is a bad guy" because I really did like him and thought we were friends but when I say he has problems and is unstable it is not a suggestion at all. I really think there is something wrong with him. I don't like the fact that he uses the bipolar disorder as an excuse or crutch for his outbursts either. He needs to get on some meds or into some therapy.

Wish that I could offer something insightful and brilliant and an instant solution ... in my next life maybe. The BOI often makes things seem more personal, and whether it be Rob's post or others that may have offended you, I would recommend taking whatever your initial reaction was, and deflating it by a factor of about 75%, before characterizing it and replying. Maybe there's some Devil's Advocate play at work, but the BOI is usually a magnifier, not a minimizer. I believe Rob's impression was heartfelt and sincere. Anthony apparently has a reasonable side to him, at times, although its not there in this deal right now. From all that I have read, you have nothing to defend here, and BOI cynic that I can be, I would recommend to you, and others who may ever be in your shoes, to take a few moments before posting and not expand the grounds for disagreement and contention. The name dropping would be such a faux-pas, as noted by others .... jeez, I agreed with Cat ... mark the calendar. While it may paint Anthony in a poorer light, it only moves you further from a solution, and you didn't need it to further impress that he had issues to fix here. All just IMO, and brought to you by me and the cold Corona next to me :). Just a suggestion .... but be kind of neutral in furthering you angst with Anthony right now beyond what you have posted ... can't please everybody anyway ..... and use the remainder of the week to try to communicate outside of this thead with him. Now, where's my bottle opener?
 
Jim, I have been nothing but cool and deliberate through this entire thing and as I have said several times, there is nothing for he and I to discuss. I will meet him at the show and will either get my animal or my money and that will likely be the last conversation we have. I have no use for this kind of stuff. My life is very very busy these days with many things and this kind of junk is not something that will take time away from important pursuits. It is my contention that when I want to spend $3500 on a snake (which Anthony told me was sh*t and not even enough to be worth his time, after he got paid) I do expect to at be shown a little respect. I go very far out of my way for people who spend $350 with me. If I can't get the respect, that is fine, but I will then exercise my rights to never do business with that person again and to post something like this here so that others do not need to make the mistake that I did. I think your response would be dramatically different if you got the emails and phone calls that did! Also, Anthony told me to post the comments he made about the people mentioned here and I took him at his word and did so. As for Rob, he posts insults and bs on my classifieds and has never posted anything positive to anything I have ever said or done here even though he does not know me or my collection. His history speaks volumes. And you notice he has not come back to say a word and has not defended Anthony's lovely emails. And I told Anthony this afternoon I was posting here and he has not cared to say anthing. "Anthony, you know fauna classifieds? Do you know about that Board Of Inquiry?" He did not care.
 
I may not always agree with how Evan responds to some of the posters on this board, but I have zero doubts about his integrity and honesty. And I also believe he only came here when all other options with Anthony were completely exhausted. There comes a point and time that it needs brought out in the open. Not only for Evan's sake but to make people aware so they dont have to go through this time of thing with Anthony.
 
Well I don't know much about the situation at hand, but.....

I have known Anthony for about 5 years now , he's been a good friend of mine and helped me out alot in that time. I was about 14-15 years old when I first talked to him about a snake I wanted to buy , but only within recent time shas it happened , within the last few years I would say. So far i've done about $7k in business with Anthony, All animals I have recieved were as described and still going well today. No real flaws i was worried about , and I still talk to Anthony on a frequent basis.

Evan, I recieved about $1200-$1300 (2 snakes) in snakes from Anthony this week. They were shipped Fed-Ex overnight . In the morning when I went to check if they had come , they hadn't. I waited a little longer.
At around 11 Anthony called me to se eif they had gotten there , of course they hadn't. He gave me the tracking number , and showed the package was still in Indianapolis. I called Fed-Ex , and they told me there was mechanical difficulties with the plane and the package would not be there until the following day. I called Anthony and told him. He apologized and offered to replace the animals if they showed up DOA or far inferior. Well long story short , the 2 snakes showed up a little cool but in good shape , so far are doing well.
So what I am trying to say is , maybe he didn't want to ship because of the issue he had with my shipment? Just throwing that out there. Either way , hope all works out.

I truly find it funny that you feel my post here was an attack at you. I kept any feelings I have about you or your business separate from this post. I posted the truth that I have known Anthony for years, and that I would not hesitate doing business with him and that I wanted to see all e-mails from both sides as I know there are always 2 sides to each story. If there truly is something to be concerned about I would like to know, but as of now it still basically seems like we are only getting your side. I have e-mailed Anthony and asked him to come post on this thread so I guess we will have to see if he does.

I admit I have posted on some of your classifieds (1 or 2) stating that the animal you had listed was not what you said it was. There were no insults or BS made just my opinion that the animal was not the morph you listed it at and others agreed.

Also, I don't live on the BOI. I do have a life other than sitting on the computer so I guess there is a problem with me posting at 7:33pm (when I arrived home from work last night) at night one time and then not coming back to see what else was posted until the next morning. I most definitely am not waiting on every post you make and would rather read allot at one time rather than each post every few minutes.

Also my history is not a bad history by any means, as a matter of fact I still have a great standing in the reptile community even though I am not as active as I once was. I still have a great customer base of many species (some of which I do not even breed nor sell any more). I have customers from many years back that contact me wanting to purchase animals only to be sad when they find out that I do not deal with that species any longer. We only breed Ball Pythons now and have a great customer base in the Ball Pythons. Hell I have some of the largest Ball Python breeders buy, trade, and sell with me all the time.
 
Hey Derek, I appreciate the info and Anthony did tell me that, but he also would not ship Delta and complained about them. Delta would get the snakes here within 24 hours or pay for them. He would have no loss either way. So the FedEx thing is confusing. I would not ever even ship anything $3500 via FedEx because I know there is no value coverage on carrier errors. If you have known Anthony that long and that well Derek, you have to honestly be able to comment on the fact that he has some issues with flying off the handle at people like this over nothing. I am not posting this in a vacuum. People In Iowa have called me to tell me about similar times. I have talked to people in California and Minnesota who have been through the same experience. So it isn't just me. Like I have said, nowhere have I bashed him or called him any names. I have very calmly stated the facts of the transactions and posted the emails. Anthony knows about this thread. He called and left a voice mail for me appologizing again and that he felt bad about what he did. Then a couple hours later another voice mail all pissed off wanting to talk to me. He just keeps mood swinging all over the place.

Rob, this thread isn't about you. Nobody on this thread asked you to post a self promotional pep talk about your business here. It is innapropriate. You don't know me. You don't know my animals. You have done classless things to me in the past, some as recently as a couple weeks ago so I have no reason to think your intentions are anything other than lousy. I have posted Anthony's emails. You don't seem to even think there is anything wrong with this guy behaving the way he does. Do you think it is wrong that he makes death threats against people and threatens to burn people's houses down, because he is angy, in his words? You are defending somebody based on no facts, no involvment in the transaction and no real knowledge of the history of behavior I am detailing about him. I have nothing else to say to you Rob.
 
I want to update this and hopefully end this tonight. Anthony and I had a good talk when I called him back today. He plans to come on to here to post at some point when he can. He and I will work out our situation at the show upcoming as planned and that will be that. I have told Anthony again that i really do think he is a good guy and that I would like to remain on a friendly level with him but that we probably should stay away from money deals so that we do not end up in a problem situation again. There will not be any physical conflict or further arguments over this. Somewhere in this deal the train went off the track and you can never undo what's been done but you can end it well and move on. As I have said, this thread was never maliscious from my end and I really just felt that I needed to cover myself in the situation I was in. I initially even posted a much more toned down title to the thread "If you are in the ball python market please read" but was forced to change it. I did not post the emails and resisted doing so but was forced into doing that as well. Now that the information is here, like I said, it is here and can't be undone. So that is where I am at. I now want to leave this alone and olet Anthony get caught up with where the thread is and let him get a response to all this. Thanks for everyone's time.

You sure seem to have a short memory. I posted what I did regarding my buisness in response to your post (which is quoted above to refresh your memory, as well as was quoted in my last post).

I do not have anything to say about your accusaitions of death threats or bodily harm threats as there is no proof of them that I have seen, there is only your statements which very well seem biased from your anger of the situation currently between yourself and Anthony. I have never seen nor heard of any threats being made by Anthony (other than from you in this thread) so I can not comment on them. I can (and did) comment on my dealings and knowledge of Anthony. I have known Anthony for about 4 + years now and have nothing but good things to say about him from my dealings.

As for your statement of me doing "classless" things to you in the past and recently is funny. As stated before I made a comment on an ad of yours stating that the animal you had listed as a morph was not what you were describing it as. As for "things" in the past I have copies of all the e-mails that have ever been exchanged between you and myself and there was nothing "classless" said or done in any of them by me.

I wish you the best on getting the snake you purchased at the Tinley show and hope that it is everything that you hope it to be.
 
Rob, again, you make this thread about you and it isn't. It is about Anthony and I. All that is left to do here is wait for Anthony's response. It is my opinion that what you posted in my classified adds was a classless thing to do since you had never seen the snake and could not in any way tell from the one photo you saw if it was what I said it was or not. So you let your negative bias towards me decide for you. which is fine and I do not care but you had to post in my classified and call me a liar and fraud by telling the users of this site that I was selling a snake that was not what I represented it to be. i challenged you then and do so again now to find anyone that will tell you that you are right that I sell misrepresented genetic animals. I would be willing to say here and now that you will only find happy customers who have gotten animals which are better than represented by me due to my not being a photographer but rather a snake breeder.

Anthony is either bi-polar or suffers from extreme rage problems. Notice the dates on the emails.......

I don't know Evan or Anthony but this post shows its pretty clear that Anthony has some issues. Because a guy didn't answer you in 24 hours you lose your mind? Wow.

Corey, good of you to get involved if even just to back up some of what is being said. A lot of people wouldn't want to be involved at all.

I am not pleased to see this posted here as I feel that this was between us , the things I told you were meant for you and not the entire world, that tells me where we stand with each other I guess.. My point of "name dropping" wasn't intended to upset Ian or anyone else mention , it was to make a point that over the years I have had situations involving payments getting messed up over various reasons.. The deal with Ian happened 5 years ago and Ian made it right , no hard feelings ever became of it and in fact I have purchased over 20k worth of Balls from Ian since then , Ian was rightfully upset and called me over this as it was totally unnecessary and an attempt to make me look bad for whatever reason makes no difference.. Ian is a friend of mine and I do not appreciate you blabbing this kind of stuff to the entire Internet world , yes I was wrong for mentioning it , obviously I made a mistake sharing ANY info like this with you, I was trying to make a point that things happen and even the BIG names have things come up , meaning that I wasn't going to put myself in a potential situation involving those 2 checks that were post dated for the end of the month .. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with Ian and will continue to do so , I hope he understands that this was never meant to be addressed in this way and accepts my apologies as I did NOT intend to upset someone that I deal with on a regular basis and have received the highest caliber of investment Balls from... I will not forget this Evan .. That animal was flawless and was exceptional in looks , he never once gave me any issues , obviously something isn't right as I put as much weight on him in 3 months as you have in a year according to your claim , sounds like your doing something wrong if you ask me , if he was sick or something he would have died by now.. Anyway I have kept this animal here for you and cared for him since we agreed on the deal back in late may /early June, have done nothing but patiently wait for payments which other than the $1000 deposit in the begining and now these 2 post dated checks totaling $1000 along with that UNPROVEN animal that I generously gave you $1500 credit towards to speed up the process of final payment and potentially produce something with in 3 years IF in fact she is what she was so proudly proclaimed to be straight out of Africa, knowing fully that she is NOT identical to the baby Whirl Winds I produced nor the female that produced the Cyclone /Super Stripe anyway, I was trying to make this extended deal easy on you and you pull this crap.. Whatever man , if that is how you treat people then you can take ytour business somewhere else , I don't need your money that bad, I have came this far without your financial support and I am pretty sure I can continue to do so regardless of what you say about me or my peers, as in my opinion taking this to this level is just plain childish.. Wow, you just jumped in here and proved my case Anthony. I said so many times what a good guy I thought you were. You talked to me yesterday and things were cool. Now you come on here and lie, make more threats against me, and spew so much bipolar garbage it is unreal. If there is anybody that does not believe what I have said about you, that is fine. But if they don't believe what you said in your post and emails, they are just fools. I am not a big player in this industry Anthony, BUT I do not constantly say that I am either. I know where I stand. The delusions of grandure you have about who and what you are just are something amazing. You are a little guy Anthony, so little in fact that without rushing to sell animals in crisis mode all the time for much less than they are worth, you can't afford to pay your bills or feed your snakes. You have not ever been first to produce one genetic mutation and you have in your entire time in thsi business produced one species only, and one that is not hard to produce. That puts you below many people who do this for a hobby or sideline business. You produced what, less than 100 animals this year and yet you compare yourself frequently to people who are producing thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands.

And about feeding your snakes, you can't even keep them well fed because your rodent suppliers keep dropping you, remarkable coincidence, because they all claim you are a nutcase who threatens people and cheats people.

You keep trying to pawn off the situation with Ian on me as well although I love how you tried to kiss ass here to stem the damage you have done. You sent the emails to me and invited even dared me to make them public. All I did was call your bluff Anthony. You screwed up. I never mentioned Ian or anyone in the conversations we had except you and me. You are the one who just has the inability to keep his mouth shut.

The emails, phone calls and posts here from people in Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Canada, California and so many other places who all say the same thing about are amazing. What is there to be said in your defense Anthony? You can't defend yourself. You will just keep insulting and threatening, trying to divert attention away from your behavior. I think I speak for everyone that knows you, your medication and therapy isn't working pal!

We had this whole deal settled and now you have made it worse. You started this, you escalated this and now you cry because you don't like how it backfired on you. Boo hoo. I did feel sorry for you and meant all the times I said in this thread that you were a good guy. No more. My sincere hope is that some people that read this thread will realize how unstable you are and avoid the pain and suffering that come from dealing with you.

As for kingsnake Anthony, I was banned for calling a thief out on the ball python forum many years ago because it was a violation of site policy to do so. That is easily verified by them. I have been restored full use of that site and in fact posted on the ball forum last week. I can post classifieds anytime I want but have not felt the need to do so. How and what does that have to do with anything here except to make you look even more petty and even more wrong? What are you trying to say? It is like Ian said to you Anthony, it has been five years, you got paid in full and you are still about badmouthing him? Why the hell would Ian want or need to deal with you?

Just a side note since you keep harping on a point that I do not Anthony, I never asked for you to ship the snake prior to it being paid for. You contacted me and told me you wanted to ship to me. You then told me to send you a snake I never offered to sell you and a check that "you would hold until I told you to cash it" and you would then ship my snake to me. Those were your ideas not mine. I told you when we first made this deal that I wanted to pay by Tinley and pick up at Tinley. You changed the deal. You got upset I didn't pay sooner than I agreed to. You offered to ship prior to checks clearing. None of that was my idea.
