People have seen the way he ships! Go ahead and join and see how he talks to people. There's pretty much no excuse for a businessman to cuss at people if he wants a good business. In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I don't really think him being rude is enough to post a bad guy boi on him. You should just ignore him. Unless he has robbed/scammed/sold sick animals/or somehow swindled or done something along those lines I think just avoiding him is best.
Now if he has done something along the lines of robbing and or scamming people then you should post that.

Still though it is best to keep all feedback about someone under the same boi thread. So I would try to only post under the longer one already made.
Like I said, I haven't done any sales with him, but have seen snakes arrive in socks from this guy. This isn't being rude just this one time either. It's like he's trying to go into war with you when arguing.. Every single time. I didn't just do this cause "he was being a big meanie one time". Over and over again, he's just crazy.

Oops, screen grab didnt show up on original post. Who the hell ships snakes in socks? I don't own snakes but I'd like my snake to come in a snake bag, not a sock. Nobody else does it, why start?

We actually argued the 'snake in the sock' bit in another thread. I'm not sure what your aversion is to socks. If the snake shows up in one piece, unharmed, then the shipping is successful. Shipping is stressful on all animals, and generally the most fundamental of things is overlooked and that leads to disaster, ie. no cold pack; no heat pack; no foam insulation. Whether you use a sack, a burlap, a bag, a potato paper bag doesn't really seem to matter minus splitting hairs. The purpose of a container, be it a sack or a sock, is to minimize movement in transit so it doesn't become injured or stressed; to keep the animal in the dark, as the more visual stimulation it gets the more prone it would be to move around restlessly. I would actually think a sock would be superior in some cases than the typical 'superiorshippingsupplies' bags a lot of people use. Get a big long wooly soccer sock and I think a snake would be fine in that. It's breathable, it expands, and the texture would seem fine to rub against the skin.
If this is about 'ew socks are gross' I'm just not going to bother responding. I'm aggressive towards people who start bad guy BOI's over the smallest of things without any significance. I've yet to see some proof of this guy's wrongdoing from you. You haven't done sales with the guy, yet claim you've seen snakes arrive in socks? Were you there at someone else's house when they received a package? If not, that's a 3rd party citation without pictures. Again - even if you HAVE pictures, I'm not sure why that warrants a bad guy thread. Perhaps a discussion on what the best medium is for storing a snake in, but not a BOI thread.

Is there a reason why snakes should not be shipped in socks other than you don't want to get your snakes shipped in socks.
Once again, the BOI does its job.
I do not use socks to ship my animals, but as long as its not an old used / dirty sock i am really not sure what the problem is??
I know this issue has come up several on the BOI in the past with no real reason why socks are bad.. but, i would be curious to hear why you feel this way?

Your screen grab didn't work. Instead of fixing it, you continue to allege various deficits about someone you haven't done business with, and start a discourse on socks.
You have only yourself to blame if people don't take what you have to say very seriously.

I don't deal with this person,but I just don't see an issue if a small snake, like a baby ball, is shipped in a sock. Some thicker socks provide a extra cushion for the snake. LOL

Anthony McCain is certainly a piece of work. That said, this thread is kind of pointless. You didn't even have a transaction with him. If I made bad guy threads about every breeder that was a jerk to me on Facebook, Rich would have to create an entire subforum just for that.

Incorrect. Other people do use socks (and other items).
Cloth is cloth. I've never shipped snakes in socks (although I have, once, received baby snakes in socks) but it does not matter if a snake is shipped in a "snake bag", a pillow case, or any number of things ~including~ socks. As long as those items are clean, have no holes, and the snake is safe & secure, all is well.
The aversion to socks is purely a psychological issue.
To be honest, I'd rather receive snakes in new/clean socks than a dirty/disgusting snake bag.
Now, receiving snakes in used, dirty, socks (eeewwwww) would be a huge problem with me.
That aside, this BOI posting, even if about a known "bad guy", is ridiculous.
I can see adding it, possibly, to an existing thread. I can also see how someone's bad behavior may make another person wish to never do business with that person. However, to simply make/start a BOI post, due to someone's bad attitude, love of cursing, etc., and without any sort of business transaction having taken place, isn't really what the BOI is for.
