• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Acquired a Black Chested Spiny Tailed Iguana (Ctenosaura Melanosterna) about a month ago from Anthony Sainz. He gave me all the information I needed (plus a couple of resources) to care for it. He was very knowledgable about his animals and was extremely helpful during (and after) the process. Definitely looking forward to dealing with Anthony in the future. :)

I've seen his ads, and he's certainly got some nice looking animals.
However I've also noticed that he insists that buyers cover HIS PayPal fee. For that reason alone, it is unlikely that I will ever purchase anything from him.

I really dont think a 3% charge is a deal breaker to work with Anthony. It also protects both the buyer and the seller in the long run. But that is just me. I have dealt with Anthony before great guy great animals.

No, 3% is not very much. However it is the principle behind it; that 3% is an expense belonging to the seller, not the buyer.
That the buyer may pay it does not provide any more protection than if the seller had paid it.

Thanks for the great feedback Cesar, I'm glad you like the Iguana.

Thomas thank you pal for commenting.

Greg, I post the 3% service charge on my add so that it is clear, it is transparent, so when people see my adds they can proceed with the sale or pass. if that is the deal breaker than the potential buyer can pass up the sale or contact me for an alternative method of payment. I am very flexible, most of the time that 3% service charge is not needed.

Service charge

I have some deal with Athony. He is very flexible and honest gentleman. If we do not really want the 3% service charge, we can go with another method ( visa, debit, money order, check , trade ........) Or even payment....... Anthony is very easy going, just give him a call and the problem should be solve. I alway have good experience with Anthony and will do business with him in the future.
