In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've tried friut flies from three different vendors and Tyler's(BBR) fruit fly cultures, are the ONLY ones that produced regularly with NO problems with mold. As far as buying chameleons from him, I'd DO IT with hesitation.

correction...

As far as buying chameleons from Tyler at Bluebeast Reptiles I'd DO IT WITHOUT HESITATION!

I have a couple chameleons from BLUEBEASTREPTILE and am very happy with them. They are beautiful and have been great eaters right from the start. I will purchase from Tyler again.

Great buisness!!!

I could never even imagine a complaint about Blue Beast Reptile. I have worked with Tyler many many times and he is a great guy. He helped me a lot back when I first got started and gave me any info I asked for. Big kudos for Tyler Stewart!!!

I give them two thumbs up, only because I don't have more than two.

I DON'T THINK SO

I LOOKED INTO BLUE BEAST A FEW MONTHS AGO AND I WAS SURPRISED AT THE EMAIL I GOT FROM TYLER. FROM THE SOUNDS OF THE EMAIL IT SEEMS LIKE HE CAN'T BE CERTAIN WHO THE SIRES ARE FOR THE BABIES HE SELLS. I ENDED UP BUYING FROM KAMMERFLAGE KREATIONS. HERE'S A PORTION OF THE EMAIL:

Jeff,
I'm working on getting more of Zen's available.... At first noone wanted them, and now everyone does. I only had about 10 eggs in the first clutch. I have a second clutch from this female that is possibly his, and possibly Zeus's (my Nosy Be male's). They're hatching right now, but since the female may have been storing sperm from Zen when she bred with Zeus, I am going to end up holding back all of them until I can tell for sure. They'll either be Zen's babies, or some 100% Nosy Be babies. When they get going, I may sell a few as "possibles" meaning, not sure's..........

Well...

All he's saying is that the female could have stored the sperm. They do that you know. He's telling you that and will tell anyone else because he is true to what he does. He isn't joking about the high demand.

Wow, I hate those guys that will tell the truth even if it means losing a sale or not what you wanted to hear.

Note: The above comment is dripping with sarcasm.

Honestly, Tyler represented the situation to the fullest of his knowledge. Maybe not the situation that a chameleon purist would want, but still we're in short supply of HONEST business people in this industry so I'd buy from him.

Kammerflage are good people as well.

IF I PAY FOR A MALE FROM ZEN OR ZEUS I WANT A MALE FROM ZEN OR ZEUS, NOT A "WELL HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE...". SEEMS LIKE A SCREWED UP THING TO DO FOR A KNOWLEDGEABLE BREEDER.

Funny how brutal honesty can backfire

Anytime a female panther is switched from one male to another, you have the risk of her storing sperm in the meantime. You wanted a baby from Zen, and the current group wasn't available to you, so I gave you options. I had some I was holding back, or I had some I was going to sell as "possibles" at a lower price. There's nothing wrong with that, and it was known to everyone involved exactly what they were. Everything about the situation was known and documented, as it is with every clutch, and I never was "not knowing" anything nor was I wrong in any way, or lying in any way. I could have easily passed them off as whichever would sell, as Dan pointed out, and you or anyone else would have never known, especially the females. I just think it's funny how stuff gets turned around like this. Did you even know that female panthers can store sperm? Thank you to everyone who knows me beyond one or two E-Mails.....

Tyler

Take it from a guy who costs himself as many sales as he gains with his brutal honesty, Its worth it in the end.

Had you chosen to not be upfront this could easily be a bad guy post. Instead its just another example of how you can never please everyone, but atleast you can sleep at night.

Many times in ongoing captive projects males and females are switched up. As such this type of situation is very common, however not often made clear to the customer. I for one commend you on your honesty.

Glad you showed up Tyler, I was about to get you to put in your two cents....since after all, this is about you. :D

And PROBMX, that's why he says it could be from either. He's not saying "Well, hopefully...."

dwedeking, I din't mean for my last comment to be oozing with sarcasm, just straight and to the point. Kammerflage are good people too, nothing against them.

Jeff,

The screwed up thing would been to have told you that it was from X parents. Then try to weasel out of it after the box arrived on your door. Instead Tyler explained the situation to you and allowed you to make an educated decision on if the purchase would fulfill your needs.

Tyler is correct in that there is a HUGE market out there for people that just want a nice chameleon that is healthy and colorful. They don't care about bloodlines or certificates, as they are not going to breed but rather use it as a display pet. I'm this way with dogs. I'll pay 3 times retail for a snake, chameleon or other lizard that has the correct genetics, but all dogs poop the same way to me so there's no need for a pedigree (or the associated costs) :D

This isn't to pick on you but just to point out that if he was trying to screw you over it would be a different story.
