    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Once again, just for my own information...David, you said you were doing reptile shows 25 years ago. Of course you could not have been, since the "reptile show" did not exist that long ago. I do note that you amended that statement, good for you. Now you say that you have been dealing in reptiles and amphibians for over 20 years. That would make your business starting date sometime in 1984. So, to help me lean on your side of things (if there is even a side to lean on), just how old are you my friend? I'm 44, I produced my first snakes when I was 11, hence I can claim that I have been in herpetology for 33 years. But that would be silly. However, I did establish my first business dealing in reptiles in 1977. There were so few of us at the time, and our population grew slowly. By 1984 I do believe that I personaly knew about everyone in the business at that time. So, who are you, how old are you, and how did I miss you? Just for my own information.

The Sony Mavica seems to capture excellent true color quality to me...maybe it's just you. Here's an example. Matt, I hope you don't mind...I thought it'd make a great reference.

*chuckle* Don't insult copperhead breeders. You should see my super high colored broad-bands and Trans-Pecos, and my partial stripe Southerns.

Pics I got, but offspring are available only to people who are well known and trusted. Sorry, but this venomoid thing is scary enough that I am very wary of letting any of my babies go to strangers. :(
 
:) No offense to Copperhead keepers, it's just the only thing good I've heard about this guy came from someone that purchased one :) So I thought to myself...stick to what you "know" :)

We've exchanged a few emails, first, shortly after the first fiasco with the "Pastel" and now, a couple of times over the last couple of hours. You know what...he's hard to figure out...lol!! Even though it seems his BP marketing strategies may be little (I mean ALOT) out of line :) but after talking to him you can't help but like the guy!!! He's always been cordial in his emails, and he obviously stands up for what he thinks is acceptable practices. My thoughts...I really disapprove of the outrageous asking prices, etc...but I'm tellin' ya, you can't help but to get a kick out of this guy, and I actually am looking forward to meeting up with him at Columbus or Indy soon, so we'll see...

Well unlike a majority of the people posting on this thread, I have done business with David and he is a stand up guy. I will continue to do business with him in the future.

I didn't even realize this thread was on here. Some of you guys are mean lol. I've dealt with David in both trade deals, sales, and have been able to hang out with him at a number of shows. Would I do business with him in the future ?. . . In a heartbeat! You guys can spout about his advertising practices all that you want. David has shown to be honest and reliable in every transaction and dealing I have made with him even to the point of calling attention to certain faults in animals we were dealing with that I would not have noticed. Who among us hasn't come across the odd ball out and considered hanging on to it and toying with a possible trait or marketing that trait as an investment? Happens daily, and that's where the breeding comes in do I bank that it is genetic? Upto you ,that's what breedings all about you win some you lose some. Check out Anthony McCains Mystics if you don't believe me lol. But regardless of his "questionable" marketing. I'm gonna give Dave the thumbs up...
 
I'm sure he has learned a thing or two since showing his ignorance back in 03.
I hope he has also gotten more honest.

Want to bring up anything completely off topic? Just curious, should anyone want to do a search on David they wouldn't pull this thread up correct. God forbid not all of them are negative. But it's idiots with nothing better to do than make derogatory comments that have nothing whatsoever to do with the matter at hand that I appreciate the most. I'm sure that's what this BOI was created for. And I've seen alot more of it than I care to admit. Wow, You're just making this worse. Seriously calm down Mr. Beamer. I meant what I said. Why would anyone want a thread like this dragged up and brought to everyone's attention again. In the future you might want to consider the consequences of your actions before acting, after all it was your pie-hole that opened this can of worms.
FYI: Genius, There is the ability given to members here to create a new thread and actually put a [Good Guy] prefix to it. See that way all this old stuff may be forgotten and you can pat your buddy on the back at the same time. I'll bill ya later for the lesson :)
