In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anybody done business with Joseph Dunnigan, out of PA. He is advertising 13 Pieds, that he and his partner are supposed to just struck a deal on. Anybody know who his partner is?
They are priced starting at $1280. and up depending on the amount of White. Apparently some members feel that his prices are too low and raise a red flag. (Even though they are priced higher then some of last years market prices.)

I think his company name is Riverside Reptile Breeders.. I know I've seen some of his vids on youtube. Also muffdaddy2 endorses him with links to Riversides site on his videos, but I've never bought anything from him it's just I've seen him around the net..

There are actually two "Riverside Reptiles." The other one is in coastal VA, owned by a guy named Ethan. I asked him if he was the same business that muffdaddy2 was advertising for in his video clips, and he laughed and said it was someone else.

Dunnigan's site is http://www.riversidereptilebreeders.com

Ethan's site is riversidereptiles.net

I would steer clear of anyone affiliated with Nick Ignacio (muffdaddy2).

well Robert thanks for stating your opinion but of all the breeders out there ive dealt with 1600 to 2000 is the "market" and frankly the "i dont have them my Partner does" ploy has been long used as a scam and until he proves to me he has what he says he has he wont get any money from me (he hasnt answered any emails of mine)

C'mon Tim,
If MuffDaddy is backing this guy he's got to be ok .

I don't want to argue market value again, but just because the breeders you have dealt with are charging $1600-$2k for 08' Low White Pieds doesn't mean that is the market value of them. I did not state my opinion. It is a fact that Rick Denmon advertised his last 2. Low White Pieds for $1050. and that was at the end of last year. It is not hard to find 08' Pied's for $950-$1250 if you shop around. Not that those prices set the market either.

The prices here do not send up a red flag as much as the lack of communication, lack of pictures, and the partner having the animals. He did say in the first post in the ad, "my partner and I struck a deal" though, and mentioned that the animals had not shed or eaten yet. Maybe he is waiting until they shed to post pics?
If he were trying to scam somebody out of their money I would think he would answer the emails when someone is wanting to purchase from him. I could be wrong though, and I am not taking the chance either.

Does anyone have any feedback on this seller?

What I made bold in the quote above is completely inaccurate information. Market value last year was still in the $1900-$2500 range. I know, I breed Pieds every year. And the the market is still holding at $1700-$2200 this year.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the reptile show sponsored my M.A.R.S. today in Timonium, Maryland at the state fairground. There were numerous pieds for sale from $1200 - $1700 (I must have seen at least 20 from several different dealers), with exceptional specimens ranging upwards of $2000.

Just my 2 cents.

shows do not = market shows are always gonna be a bit cheaper but i believe this guy has put up a new sale post stating he is gonna post pictures soon and that he is awaiting them to be shipped up to him in PA

I just couldn't deal with him because Nick Ignacio endorses him.. But thats totally my opinion. Like the saying goes everyone has one..

You are correct in a very broad sense. But I disagree with you on this point as a generalization. Shows are very much part of market price. And do represent a very valid price point which in turn does = part of the market price and can't be ignored.

Yes shows will offer lower prices for various reasons.

I realize that people looking for investments, to bolster their breeding stock, or simply have to have that perfect item immediately, won't wait until a show and that accounts for another portion of the market. Lastly are the uneducated buyers that grab the first thing they see. All of which = market. You can't simply say shows do not equal market.

The market price is what a knowledgeable buyer and seller will price a given item at. For the most part, those in the "know" about any particular product will purchase it at the lowest price at the most convenient time. That said, shows, which happen with a very regular frequency, are part of the market.

I have no feedback or knowledge of Snakeguy46 and really don't want to debate market value, so this will be my last post in this thread(I think.)

Pieds are selling for $950.-$1500. at shows, depending on the amount of White. Those same prices are available if you reasonably negotiate with a seller over the web. Now you say that does not make that the market price on those animals.

How about this:
http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117155

Does that not have anything to do with market value either? $1200. shipped for a 30% White Pied.

He is a good guy 2 deal with i was getting a albino boa from him in march of 09 but he never made it, so he sent my money back with know problem,i think he is a good guy if u ask me in i'm getting more snake from him n august of 09.ps he gives a very good price on his snakes

Anyone else have any feedback on him besides the post above that registered, posted that post, and never came back?

Hi everyone, got a bit bored today and just noticed I had this long thread. I belive all my adds had my web site included?? We have been Registered Riverside Reptile Breeders for 15 years. Anyone with a tiny bit of computer skills cold have went there riversidereptilebreeders.com and looked at the several pages of feedback and references. Hell look who is my number one reference...........Pete Kahl. Need i say more.
I should have done a follow up with the 14 pieds, My partner had planned to pick them up and the deal fell thru. Now years later I have produced some of the best looking ones around (with the albino trait added to boot).
