    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am looking at some nicaraguans he has for sale and I was wondering does anybody know anything about hopkins holesale herps.

I bought a ghost boa from Mr. Hopkins last year. Jim was great to deal with and the animal was even better!

He lives down here in SW Florida and is a Sheriff's Deputy in Collier County (or at least I believe he was last time I talked to him - it has been a while). He met me in Ft. Myers as promised to buy a cornsnake from me about a year ago. It was a smooth transaction.

At least a couple other local people have mentioned that he really went out of his way to answer questions about the animals. And a couple of days ago we sexed 3 pairs of baby boas that one of our local herp society members acquired from him and wanted checked. They were all sexed as promised and all looked very healthy.

Based on these experiences, I would not hesitate to deal with him again.

I purchased a hypo boa from Jim Hopkins aka "hoppy" just about two months ago!! Very nice guy, nice clean healthy animals! I would not hesitate to do business with him again!

I have exchanged emails with him and have seen nothing but quality animals come from him. I would buy with confidence.

I have never dealt with Jim directly...but have acquired a number of animals from others that were bred by Jim. Absolutely great health...very nice snakes.
All mine were acquired as hatchlings...so they weren't long out of his care.

The people I have purchased his animals from have spoken VERY highly of Jim as a person and a businessman.
