    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ANYBODY WAT TO "PARTY" IN TAMPA?

Dave...You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!! (and isn't THAT a scary thought! hahaha) The Outback Steakhouse is THE PLACE TO GO! The food is GREAT! It's very reasonably priced! And you can SMOKE!! They will also sit us at one or two HUGE tables TOGETHER!! This should be FUN!! We'll all meet up at Tony's (the promoter) table after the show and go from there, in a long procession so nobody gets lost! (well, physically, anyway <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>) ....Neil

For any of you who ARE interested....Winston is talking about "Mons Venus", on North Dale Mabry Hwy right by exit 23 on I275...of course....half my customers WORK THERE!! I'd rather have them as "customers"! Ya know what I mean....and besides..it's like Starving to death and watching somebody cook a steak!! Heck, ya leave more frustrated than when you went in!! Not to mention a couple of hundred dollars poorer! You guys can have it! Would love to be there. Think of the vast array of knowledge sitting at one table in Outback...WHEW! BUT, I am just a lowly amateur, brand new to herping and definitely not a dealer. How would you feel about a rookie being in the group? I could only imagine the stories I would get to hear... :)

Well that would be fantastic. I appreciate that Neil and I do plan on being at the Tampa show. This will be my first one and i am sure it will be nothing short of exceptional.

 As Neil and Dave have already expressed it would be great to have you join us.  Just to tell you a little about myself so you don't feel like you are the only one kind of new to all of this.  When my wife and I met she had been herping quite a few years.  As I fell in love with her I also fell in love with the idea of herping.  She had kept a few herps as pets but when I got involved we expanded...Really expanded!  We now have almost 40 snakes of various species.  I know this is a small number compared to someone like Rich Z.  So you could say that my wife created a monster when she met me.
 We will not have a table in Tampa this year as our business is still on the ground floor so to speak.  Last year we were able to provide quality animals to our local pet store and a few friends.  This year we will have a table at a the show in Indianapolis for the first time.  We all have to start somewhere whether you are a hobbyist or a breeder.  Tampa is more or less a vaction / business trip for us.  We aren't planning on buying anything but we also didn't plan on buying but 3 or 4 in Daytona last year and came home with 9.
 Anyway, I guess my point is that if you are a herper you are welcome to join us.  Some of us are old timers and some are just starting off in our business like my wife and I but we all share the same passion for reptiles.  Who knows maybe you can teach all of us a trick or two.  I am sure either way you will make a lot of good friends as we have.  Last time my wife spoke to Rich Z. she asked him to adopt us.  I am just hoping to get him to sign the papers while we are in Tampa.  LOL <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

It constantly amazes me. It seems every time I read the forums here the friendliness just grows and grows. No wonder I got so interested in herping!!!
Well, I have ordered my tickets for the show and I will be there. It will be great to be able to put faces to the many names I have come to know here and elsewhere on the net.
While I certainly don't know what I may be able to teach any of you, I am sure that I will learn QUITE a bit.
So, I look forward to meeting many of you, and having a GREAT dinner at OUTBACK. See ya there.
 
Hey is anyone bringing their kids with them to dinner Sat of the show?  I have my 10 year old daughter that weekend and did'nt know if any others would be bringing theirs.  Let me know either via private e-mail or on here.
