In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm just curious, because snows seem to be in high demand. I was looking on reptibid and there's a juvinile snow with no reserve, which is already over a $100.00.

So, is anyone on this forum breeding this morph? Also, why are they so hard to come by? Are they a newer morph and/or does anyone know the history?

Thanks,

Matt

Albey has great snows, when he has them available. I wouldn't buy one as a juvi. According to an email I had with Albey a few months back, "The Snow Leopard Geckos breed later in the year than the rest of my
colonies. I don't know if the reason for this is a genetic thing or if it is
just when they become sexually mature. That coupled with the fact that I
have to wait at least five months to see how they will turn out (The Snow's
have a tendency to turn light yellow at about Four months), makes for much
later in the season offerings. This is also the reason I do not offer
hatchling Snow's for sale."

That makes me never want to buy a juvi, unless it was way cheap. Because odds aren't in your favor that they will turn out to be real snows. But that is just my info!

I would nEVer!

Buy a hatchling being sold as a Snow. I have hatched out many that look like snows when they first start out. Especially out of the jungle lines I used to work with. I mean I guess you could risk it but why? Thats one of the reasons why Albey doesn't sell his until much later. Shoot look at all his leopards. He waits until they are almost fully grown. I don't blame him at all. I have sold some SCREAMERS for next to nothing! Later I wanted to KICK myself! :(

I already know about not buying hatchling snows, but do any of you guys have A grade snows that you breed? Chad?

I'm just trying to figure out why Albey is the only "known" snow breeder. I think more than just one person should have a colony of snows. I myself, like many, would love to have a colony of them.

thanks,

Matt

I e-mailed him and he said he won't have any available this year, but maybe next year.
