    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have bought from Dave and his Wife on many occasions. I have always been very happy with the quality of animals I have received. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting good quality animals.

Dave & Katie are good people. I haven't purchased from them recently, but I have MANY times in the past (beginning back in the mid '90s, when he was small time in CT, lol)
 
We've dealt with Dave and Kate a couple times, buying some inverts and selling some of our baby boas. Really nice people and good quality animals.
 
I have purchased from them quite a few times. Approximately once a month for almost 2 years.
The animals were usually fairly good quality. Occasionally something would come looking sickly or underweight, but overall quality was generally what was expected.
However, the most recent time I purchased from them, I had purchased a few Argentine B/W Tegus and a few baby leopard geckos (higher end geckos at the time). The tegus were a little underweight, (which was not a huge deal) and the geckos were all nearly dead or dead. Every one of them had died within 12 hours of getting them or was dead in the box. They were clearly NOT healthy geckos when they were sent out. I called Dave and Katie moments after they arrived to let them know that the geckos looked TERRIBLE, and that half were dead on arrival. They said that the geckos were perfect prior to shipping, and if anything was wrong with them it was MY fault. I contacted them later that evening when ALL the geckos had perished, explaining that there was CLEARLY something wrong with the geckos that caused them to die so abruptly. I asked if there was any way, since I spent between $100 - $200 on the geckos alone, that they would be able to either send me out new, NON-DEAD geckos, or credit my account so that I could use that toward something else later. They COMPLETELY refused to do EITHER of those things... INSISTING that it was 100% MY fault that the geckos died.
Needless to say, I have not done ANY business with them since that incident. Dealing with them for as long as I did, I really did not expect them to act this way when they got a complaint... but... apparently you never really know someone.
