    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im looking to find out any information on Herpconcepts they advertise on kingsnake.com with Jordan always signing off on their advertisments.

I talked to him several times thru e-mail and we set up a deal for a 4' Male Red-Tail. Well I sent the money order and havent heard back from him since.

He told me to make out the money order and send it to: Lonnie Bohannon
Wesley Chapel, Fl.

(Ill leave out the rest of the addy for now)

Im just wondering if this is a case of something happening to him or if I've been had. Any info would be appreciated.

Kirby....As I said in our phone conversation....I've never heard of him...but, if you ever do find out who it is and where he lives...I'll be more than happy to go over there and see what's up!!

Neil,,,doesnt that last post by the other guy sound a little fishy??? let me know if i am wrong,,,but doesnt it cost DOUBLE to have something delivered on a Saturday??? isnt he buying a redtail??? double shipping is almost as much as a common red-tail costs,,isnt it???  sounds funny to me...

Personally....I "never" ship anything out on Thursday or Friday....IF there's a problem with the shipper, the poor herp will spend the whole weekend in a warehouse!! Not good!!
The only saving grace here, is...we know where the sellers are and their phone number....I really don't think they'd be that dumb "not" to ship it out....and yes, you're correct....most delivery services have an extra charge for a Saturday delivery....which makes me suspect that something aint Kosher, here!! But....TWT (time will tell)!! ....Neil
 
Kirby ....I think you might have jumped the gun there, big guy!! I just got a call from Jordan, who told me who he was, which reminded me that I DO know who he is! He works for Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, and Lonnie is his partner....as it was told to me by Jordan....they didn't even get your check till yesterday!! They also told you, like I did, that they only ship out on Mon-Wed....so, your snake is going to be shipped Monday, and "not" today!!

It was also brought to my attention that "someone" called Lonnie at the number I gave you, and told him that I was "trash-talking" him on this site!! Gee, I wonder what kind of "maggot" would do that?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> He's gonna check his caller-ID and see "whom" it might have been!! ....Neil

I called Lonnie yesterday and talked to him and he said they had a lot of stuff going out in shipment today (friday) I realize they got the money order just yesterday but I hadnt heard from Jordan since before I sent the money order. Thats what made me wonder. Like I said on the phone I dont want to drag someone's name thru the mud but when I hadnt heard from him in a couple days it made me wonder. Neil your tops in my book, you dont know me from Adam but you went out of your way to help me and I appreciate that. Jordan if you read this Im sorry if I caused any sort of blemish on your reputation I only wish I had sent you my phone number or you had sent yours to me so we could have talked person to person instead of having to involve so many "middle men"

Just a little follow up.

Jordan has received my money and has had it for over 12 days. I still have yet to receive the snake. I e-mailed him sunday to ask if he was still sending the snake on July 8th. he answered back with 3 words "Yes I am" I e-mailed him yesterday to ask if he sent it and if he did what the tracking number is I havent heard anything back from him yet.

Now what do I do?
 
Kirby....Here's the deal....I just got off the phone with Jordan....this is what happened (and I DO believe him)...last week, his 40-year-old brother, his brother's 14-year-old son, and Jordan's 14-year-old son, were horsing around in the backyard when his brother bear-hugged Jordan's son and "Broke his Sternum!!" OUCH! He's in the hospital as we speak! With that happening...he just forgot about everything else (and I don't blame him one bit)....he did "Promise me" that your snake WILL be shipped tomorrow (7-10-02)....he aplogized to you, through me, and hopes that you can understand....I sure as heck do! So...keep your shirt on, Kirby....your baby will be to you shortly....Neil
 
I understand completely IF that is what happened. However, He did answer me back sunday night saying it would be shipped monday he could have said what was going on in his e-mail. As for his not having time, I think he did have time to explain what happened in his e-mail since he has posted on the kingsnake classifieds trying to sell other snakes. Im sorry Im just a little upset I sent payment more than a week and a half ago and havent received my snake. How would you feel? Like I said IF that is what happened then he and his son have my sympathy and support I know that dont feel good. However he COULD have said something to me about it. Im not trying to be an ass but Id like my snake ya know?
 
Kirby...I understand exactly how you feel...that's why I stepped in to try and resolve this thing??? Ya know...you must have been listening to my phone conversation with Jordan, because your words...were my words, to a tee! I asked him if he had told you about his son...when he said no, I asked him why, and he said he thought it was too personal, I told him that had you known, "that" you would have understood?? He had no answer....

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I hope his son recovers fast and everything works out for them. Its just that you read on here about some people getting ripped off so often it made me wonder if I was going to be a statistic as well.
 
Havent received a e-mail with a tracking number yet today, but there is a new posting on the kingsnake.com classifieds from Jordan dated today albiet really early today but still today. I hope for his sake its shipped today my wife is getting VERY pissed.

I recieved my snake today. He is a very good looking snake. a bit on the thin side but not overly so. packaging was good but could have been better. He poked a knife into the side of the box and gave it a half twist in either direction. that was the ONLY air hole in it. Other than that the packaging was excellent. I have a quick question regarding this snake that maybe some of you might be able to help with.

Is it normal for a snake to drool a little when they are shipped like this? Its like clear spit no bubbles no odor and its not overly excessive. I thought it might be stress induced due to shipping but I dont really know this is the FIRST snake I have bought online. (we ordered some baby balls from Wyatt out of Dallas but that was a same day delivery Im in Houston) any info would be appreciated.
