In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

CV Exotics in E. Hampstead, NH currently has a ball python I am looking for at a reasonable price, and I am considering making a purchase from them in the near future. I would just like to get some feedback on those who have dealt with this business before.

Thank you.

Scott from CVs Exotics is an awesome guy!! I go to his store to buy feeders and the last time I was there I bought an awesome looking pastel male from him...I just couldn't help myself. He is a great eater, went right for f/t right away even though Scott feeds live, and is growing at an alarming rate. His store is very clean, his snakes are very healthy, and their enclosures are spotless. I am a newbie at ball morphs, and Scott took a long time to answer my many questions, showed me his many morphs (even his caramel glow!) and even took the time to show me how to probe. I would not hesitate to buy from him again so I recommend you go ahead with your purchase :)

it's amazing that all these new people are just hanging out and suddenly show up to praise this seller, after another new person posts asking about them?

Anyone have an IP check handy?

I can assure you I am asking a legit question, and do not know these people who have so far responded.

CV Exotics is listing an orange ghost ball python on their website that I am considering buying, but I had never heard of them before and just wanted a general consensus of them. I only have a small ball python collection, and do some hobby breeding. I love honeybees and would love to produce one, and I need an orange ghost to pair with a spider should I attempt to acheive this. I haven't in any way decided to even make a purchase now; I may wait until this season's babies hatch. But CV's price was reasonable, and is an '08 which would mean it would be at breeding size before an '09 hatchling would be.

Thanks.

Also, I would like some feedback from any who have had reptiles shipped to them from CV Exotics, as I am in Tennessee and would need the animal shipped to me as well if I made a purchase. A general reaction to their shipping methods, overall customer satisfaction, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Just trying to do my homework here. ;)

well, a quick search shows he has a pretty good reputation, but all the posts are from 06-07. I couldn't find anything more recent though, so take that how you will.

Nothing against you. I'm just a bit skeptical when a couple people who've never posted here come jump into a post praising someone, and that's their first post. Seems odd that people are lurking around here waiting to jump in and praise said business. I'm sure it happens though, but I've been burned before so I'm a skeptic. ;)

No offense taken. I am a bit of a skeptic as well, thus the inquiry before I seriously consider contacting/buying from someone I've never heard of. I did a search on here and came up with nothing for CV Exotics. The search said the "CV" part had been left out due to insufficient letters, or something like that. ;)

Any links to those 06-07 posts you care to share? I didn't even find those. LOL

do the search with quotes, what I had to do. just put in "cv exotics" in the search field. if that doesn't work for you, i'll find them again and link. :)

I am sorry that you feel skeptical that I am a legit person. I was going through the BOI and saw the OP asking about CV's Exotics. Since I have had only good experiences dealing with Scott and his animals, I wanted to share my opinion...that's all. He also used to work for NERD, and some of his lines come from there. I hope this helps :)

Nothing personal Kris, but there's been quite a few times that scammers have created multiple names on here and then made good guy threads in the BOI in an attempt to legitimize themselves and lure more victims in. Just a bit wary here, but the truth comes out and I'm glad this appears not to be the case. :)

One of The Best Out There

You need not worry about dealing with Scott Seavey of CV Exotics. I've dealt with and have known Scott for many years. I've seen his animals at numerous shows both here in NH and in NY as well as visited his home before he moved his collection into his current shop. I'd not hesitate to deal with Scott and trust any animal he has for sale 100%. Scott's a great person and very trustworthy guy to do business with. I have proven out possible het animals I bought from him which says a lot about his integrity.
So there you go. A no bull testimonial from someone who's been around this forum for a long time.

Hey Rich with all due respect brother Scott and CV has been around a very long time and would not even be in the running as a scammer keep in mind you will not find recent activity on Nerd, Ralph Davis, or Many big breeders because they don't sell animals on this site hence the buyers of there animas would not know of this site. Keep this bit of knowledge when reading these BOI postings. Just look at how long I've been a Fauna member and how many times I've posted. Most of my Posts are in the for sale section and right here at the BOI.

Scott is a great guy, with spectacular animals. Been doing business with him for years, and would not hesitate to do more with him. He IS one of the good guys out there. These are some of my more recent purchases from him as a matter of fact!!

I'm a broker from Bangkok, Thailand. I've done business with Scott, the owner of CV Exotics twice. The recent purchase was last month for his albino spider ball. I forgot what were in the first transaction. Every time I paid him up front and he shipped to my exporter, never had any problem whatsoever.

To be honest his pricing is not the cheapest I can find, but I know the quality of his animals is very good. Thumbs up for him.

I bought a male spider from Scott. Great quality animals!!! Plus his feeder prices are very reasonable as well. I can't wait to see what hatches out this year from him.
