    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We added a sixth ball to our collection (man we have got to stop) she is very gentle but she is a really aggressive eater ( not complaing I think it's great considering we have one that doesn't like eating at all) as soon as we take the top of her container she pops up like a cobra, and if you drop the rat you are in a lot of trouble she will strike ( hubby dropped it and she wouldn't let him get it) I think we will name her cobra wanna be. She is so funny when she pops up like a cobra. Just thought I would share thought she was funny

I had one like this years ago. He acted more like a woma than a ball python. Even during breeding season he ate anything you dropped in his cage. He was a big boy at around 5 feet.....

I have a couple females that literally hit the rat before the feet hit the ground. It is awesome to watch and joy to have ball pythons feed like that. One of the girls was in her hide (large plastic bowl with hole cut in side) the day I went to feed, the rat hit the floor and the bowl flipped in the air because she came flying out of it to snag the rat. :rofl:

my female is like that . i feed f/t off tongs and so far have never even had time to try to entice her . she sees the rat and goes for it emediately every time . she has hit rats so hard that her tank moved over an inch on the stand .

instead of naming her cobra wanna be why not just "Poser"? kinda the same thing and its a little shorter name.

I have a pastel that is showing a food response like that. A day after arriving, I went to put a rat pup in and he launched himself at it before the tub was even slid out enough.

I also have a 3 year old male that does what Bill posted. Flips the hide when at the first whiff of food. You need to slide the tub and drop really fast because he has terrible aim. :rofl:
