About a year and a half ago , a friend of mine was looking for some ball pythons. Not being in an area where there are a lot of people keep balls, I decided to take to the internet, and help him in his search. I ran into Mike in a chat room, and he let me know what he had, and gave a very reasonable price. I let my friend know about the deal, and let him handle it from there. He said that Mike was not only very professional on the phone, but even lowered the price on the balls, as they were his last 2. Now, we all know that normal ball pythons are not pricey, and shipping was almost the price of the 2 ball pythons together.
About 3 weeks later, one of the balls died, and to this day we have no idea what caused the death. About a week after that, I made a comment about it to Mike in the same chatroom in passing, not expecting anything, thinking any guarantee had long expired. Mike was shocked, and called Aaron right away to see what had gone wrong. Mike, having decided that Aaron's husbandry was not the cause, and not figuring out what was the culprit said he would replace the snake, at his cost...and pay shipping on the new snake.
I know that the shipping of the second snake, and the actual cost of the snake alone exceeded the profit that Mike would have made on the other shipment. Mike lost money on the deal, but gained 2 supporters for life in myself and Aaron.
