In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone have any info on Gulf Coast Reptiles?

I may be doing some business with them, I was wondering if anyone had any info on them........

how funny is it that i just noticed they had an ad for a GTP on KS and sent them an email telling them how good mine is doing, then i come on here and see your post.
I got a yellow aru type GTP from them in july of 06, probably a clutchmate of the one on KS now and they were awesome. my questions (and i can ask alot of questions) were all answered promptly, delivery was easy and on time. the animal itself was/is flawless. it eats like a pig. GCR sent me a feeding card and it looks like it has been a good eater since birth. it has a good temperment, and is going thru color change picking up alot of white spots on the way. I couldnt be happier and would and will be doing business with them in the future.

and that was my first post biatches!! you will all welcome me now! lol!

That was a bit rude and unnecessary.....
umm sorry, that was an attempt at humor, which is why i followed it up with lol... now i know why i dont post here, cause if you are not one of the click, they look for reasons to tear you up. oh well, what i said about GCR is all true, if you would like a pic of my snake to see how well it is doing feel free to email me and i will shoot you one. other than that, guess it is back to lurking and not posting here. thanks for the quick chase off.

I will recommend Chris McQuade at Gulf coast Reptiles as a good guy to do business with! Bought some Citrus Ghost Balls off him a couple years ago that Im very happy with. :)

Doyle033, you wont get a warm welcome with a post like that. :NoNo:

I have been dealing with Chris for years, and recommend him without hesitation.

Chris and Sheila are good people. We have purchased from them several times. Buy with confidence.

Seconded!!! :iagree:

Not only do I have a SMOKIN' '06 Black Pastel male, he has done so well for me that I jumped at the chance to get an unrelated female Black as well. They've been very understanding & supportive as extrmeme cold weather (where I live) & family illness (which had me out of town for an extended period) has caused a bit of a delay in shipping. All I need are low temps to climb up above 35F (hopefully next week). Although I know they are taking great care of my new girl, I'm very excited to see her soon.

Chris & Shelia have been a pure joy to deal with!

kind of ironic that both you and cat72 took the most offence to my comments (oh and jim o too, thanks for the negative karma) yet neither of you had anything either way to say about the actual people this post was about (GCR).
i apologized for making a joke, but i still think a few posters with their "super cool" internet pesonas make what could be a very informative resource into a bastion for trolls to come and whack away at people when they have a bad day. again i should not have joked, but in actuality any new posters are always flamed or called into question (how soon before someone requests an ip check to make sure i am not a shill or a porn star in hiding?).
in all reality metachrosis, is this the way you would hope to be treated as a new user on a website? i wouldnt have posted on fauna at all due to the attitude of a large amount of posters here if i wasnt thoroughly happy with the treatment i got at GCR and wanted others to know about it. otherwise, for the most part, you and a few others have proved that there are no friends to be had by me here.
by the way, why the hatred for myspace? are you angry they are cracking down on pedo's trying to hook up with young'uns? or do you have another ax to grind there? just curious. and didnt you mean where dorks run rampant, or is reversing the phrase the "cool net thing" you do here? again, as i am not the most prolific poster on the planet, just looking for some guidance.

I have known Chris and Sheila for years, but have just recently purchased a baby citrus ghost male (ball python) and het female from them. They are doing great!

I was over to their place and saw their collection a few weeks ago when I picked up the female. It was immaculate and everything looked fat and happy.

I think you will be very happy with whatever you purchase from them.

Ok. Thanks for all the feed back. I went ahead and bought an albino ball from them last night. I look forward to getting it. And as far as you that want to fight on here,............all of you just need to chill. Some one tried to make a joke,....you didn't find it funny,......you informed that person of it,....now everyone just needs to get over it and let it go!

I always make it a point to stop by their table in Daytona every year.
Chris and Sheila are always a pleasure to deal with and the animals are top notch. I'm sure that you'll be pleased with anything that you get from them.

Ditto what Kathy Love said.
Chris and Sheila are great folks to deal with and I consider them close personal friends!

Gulfcoast is aallllrrright, my animals tha I received from them are top notch! Since no one else would say it, welcome doyle033 and happy posting!!!!!!!!!!!

Gulfcoast Reptiles A+

I acquired a few Bolivians from them a couple years ago and the animals were healthy and beautiful. These boas are some of the real gems of my amarali collection. The customer service was great and the animals were absolutely stunning! Thanks, Chris!

I purchased a bolivian and cancun boa from them about 3 years ago. Their animals are very beautiful, but both had mites. I had a mite free collection until these two were introduced. All my snakes are extremely well kept. New additions are quarantined, kept away from the others, etc. At the end of the day it's their word against mine. Both snakes were treated for mites.

That's my experience with them. From the previous post they seem to have a lot of support. Again, beautiful animals, but I prefer not to deal with mites.

Since I noticed that Gulf Coast Reptiles just registered and is posting ads here, I thought I would bring this up to the top. I've purchased a number of animals from them over the years (including a few since my previous post in this thread), and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Two thumbs up for Chris and Sheila   (and welcome to Fauna!)
