    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mike has a web site, mikesplace.6.forumer.com I have never done any business with him.You should check his site.I believe there are some mixed emotions about him. :argue:
 
I know he has a couple posts on different forums regarding some cornsnakes for sale, and threatens to use them as feeders if not sold by the end of the week.

I don't know if its a sales tactic to get people to buy them out of pitty but I know hes into ringnecks so probably not.

I have 2 normal CB05' Corn Snakes. They are a nice red color, have some nice orange colors as well. They are both about 12" long.



I do not want them. If nobody buys them within a week they are snake food.



I am asking only $60 shipped for both. You will not find a cheaper price for 2 normal babies shipped anywhere.



I also have a yellow rat snake, CB05' that I need to move as well. And if he doesn't go, he meets the same fate. Take him for an extra $15.

I think I am just gonna stay clear of the guy he seems young. Reason being for 1 this info I just read and reason 2 he found out I keep hots and he said he was into coral snakes and I mentioned to him that I keep hots but I buy locally and could not ship delta. I just wont. I can gett good deals within driving distance. Then he mentioned something to me how he thought it was ok to ship them via fedex saying "coral snakes dont even bite" That's when i raised an eyebrow! Now Im not saying he asked me to ship this way to him,but im sure if I would of said hey yea I will send you the mosr deadly snake in the us fedex something tells me he would of took the offer. So I think Im gonna just stay clear of the guy/kid. Thank you all very much.
 
He has made claims of shipping snakes via USPS in the past. He goes by Ringneck_Man1 here on Fauna.

He is 25 years old and resides in PA, or at least was/did a few months ago.

Seems to be one to avoid. I certainly would not consider doing business with him.

I have a problem with people who do not follow the rules. You decide to ship through USPS and something happens to the package and the snakes get out it could cause problems for the hobby/business as a whole. Your disregard for the rest of the herp community is something that doesn't sit well with me.

Again, someone who willingly breaks or bends the rules will most likely do so again. Will the next time be an attempt to scam someone? Who knows? I do know that I will not give someone who has previously bent or broken the rules the opportunity to take advantage of myself. I will also do my best to see that others in the community are made aware of said persons actions.

Long time ago dude quit living in the past. And there have been alot more problems with snakes arriving FedEx than through USPS, not firsthand experiences, but there are plenty of posts out there.

Likely to do it again? Hmm, no. I'm not a rapist dude, I didn't go to jail for a couple years, get out and get some damn urge to do something again. We are talking about shipping snakes, why in the hell would I continue to ship snakes through the post office when I can just ship them through FedEx. A scammer? No. That made me laugh, considering there are atleast a dozen scammers that pay to be able to post on this site.

Certified, nope. I know hundreds of people that ship snakes through FedEx and never once heard that you had to be certified.

:rofl: if you tell him you can catch snakes but that you can`t ship them,he will PM you..I wonder what he tells them when he does it.They are usually people that have no idea that their not supposed to.If you read the post on his site you will see he has done allot of PMing lately. :dgrin:
 
It's not "breaking the rules" to ship snakes through the USPS. It's breaking Federal Law. I personally would not do business with someone who has such a non-chalant attitude about breaking the law.
 
It's kinda funny, I was just discussing this today. It's unfortunate that a couple small-minded people, could have such an effect on this hobby. To ship through USPS, is ludicrious ! To go to Federal prision, just to save $15-$20.00. I think I missed something here! I am certified through Fedex and Delta, because it IS the right thing to do to protect this hobby. If you are having trouble getting certified, there are a number of threads on FAUNA to help you out. Or email me for info. It's that easy!
