Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I got a phone call today from a man who's family member bought two supposedly high-end dragons for 5000.00 you got it right 5000.00 .These are nipped up, very little color normal Dragons!!

This man (Rick) went on to say this lady is elderly in very bad health and gets scammed all the time in get rich quick scams ..She doesn't even know how to care for dragons.. This Tim West gave her the two dragons in a 20 gal aquarium. Rick told me with no UV and the dragons reached from end to end of the tank.He didn't think this was right so contacted me for advice on care.While they try to figure out who this Tim West is..


My question here is, Does this sound familiar to anyone? The deal is you buy these two High-end dragons for 5000.00 breed them and sell the babies back to him for 50.00 each. he has the person sign a contract and requires insurance be bought on the dragons in the amount of 5000.00 so if they died he gets the 5000.00 . The dragons had a regular household light bulb with very little heat output and no Uv...

I'm sure Rick would like to talk to anyone that went down this road. The daughter of the elderly lady that went into "business" with this Tim West has power of attorney and will try to get this poor ladies money back.Any help would be appreciated I'm sure if you have dealt with this person before? Just letting people know this stuff is still going on out there..I remember running across this business deal myself when I first starting looking into dragons when googling for info on dragons. I ran across this same offer.This was 10 years ago!!

Any info on Tim West would be appreciated..I'm not a big forum Reader or writer so excuse me if not done in the usual fashion . Just trying to help this family and keep others from going down this path..

Isn't it mike and Tim west. They live in the northwest I think Idaho. I hear crap about how they are crooks all the time from my breeder friends up here. Doesn't surprise me. Lol.
 
Also, Tamara, anonymous third party information is not permitted here - would you please identify the person that told you this story ("Rick" doesn't help very much)
 
I didn't ask for his last name but will have it tomorrow when I call him with this new information. I ran a check on Tim West but nothing came up.

I had Mike West contact me before by phone wanting to buy a bunch of my dragons. He wanted me to ship that same day . Telling me he would send me a check.I didn't go for that at all! This wasn't through e-mail either folks but over the phone. That's like being face to face almost trying to scam me.These guys have Balls, I'll tell ya that.

That was over a year ago. I Didn't put the two together..Thanks for all the info. I will pass it along.They are still up to their old tricks, sorry to say..
