In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone heard of Mike Williams/[email protected]

Was the tracking number he sent a legitimate DHL tracking number?

It is possible that the package was sent from work. Andover, NJ is not far from PA (see http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...&address=&city=andover&state=nj&zipcode=07821) and it is possible that the name on the label is the company's shipping agent.

At least, at the end of the day, you got what you paid for when the seller said it would come. It's hard to fault him on this transaction even if he was a bit quirky.

Chris, Im glad you had a successful transaction! you need to have a little faith in the person who you bought those snakes from. from 3/21-3/22 you started a thread on the BOI, flip flopped back and forth from your seller being a bad guy, good guy and was just a nervious wreck about buying some snakes.the guy was a little slow in getting back to you, did the thought ever cross your mind that he might be working or maybe hes not on the computer alot. you paid him for snakes, he delivered you the snakes that you paid for and you are happy with them! why would you call him anymore just to ask questions about where he lives or any other info like that. sounds like the deal we all would like to have. Very happy you recieved what you paid for.

Again glad to hear you got the snakes this time. Just search someone's name the next time and read all the threads about them next time.

I wonder why Mike got rid of the business to Ms. Cox a few months ago over those "Het boas" only to be selling now?

thanks
ben cole

Sorry for reacting like that. I know I should have done my research first. I honestly don't know if he could have got these snakes any cheaper. They were very cheap for what they are and he provided pics of each of them. As far as his work, well its still really early so I will be calling.
Once again I am really sorry how I reacted.

The tracking number, how do I find out what it is?

The tacking number was correct. He may have accidently put the extra two numbers on the end. I could not get on DHL's website until this morning. But once agian he wouldn't tell me who he was shipping with...

Chris, Relax. take a deep breath, you just completed a very good deal. all the other stuff your thinking about does not really matter.....let it go. :D

As far as Mike Williams having anacondas in Jersey. :NoNo:
Relax Ed. They were babies shipped from a business address in New Jersey. I doubt that he was keeping them at a pharmaceutical company office. If they came from his home in PA and were only in transit then they were hardly being kept in New Jersey.

Alright, I will relax I have the snakes. :) I called the number and it is a
"Stacker 2 Fat Burner" line. I will have to talk to customer service? I am not upset anymore it is just a mystery at this point.

Or should I just drop it? I have the snakes and I am happy. Now, I can just wonder who he is and where he is from? I guess he is a secret.

Jim, having yellow or green anacondas in N.J. is against the law. they can not be possessed or sold in N.J. technically they were shipped out of Jersey and could create a ton of problems if someone was to pursuit it. maybe the pharmaceutical box that was used was just a nice styro box that was handy and the seller used it. :shrug01:

I am probably going to let it go. I don't want to start trouble. It was not the box. It was the label printed from DHL.

Drop Ship is when someone takes orders for products and then pays a manufacturer or distributor to ship the product to the customer. This way, you can make sales of products with zero inventory.
Basically this guy was a middleman while keeping the appearance that he was the breeder.

Actually you'd be wrong. You are not allowed to possess an anaconda because you are subject to New Jersey law regarding what animals you may posses. If the seller brought them to NJ from a state where they are legal solely for the purpose of shipping them to another state then they are subject only to federal law as they are only "in transit" from one state to another. It's just as if someone used a common carrier and the package landed at Newark. As long as the recipent was in a state where it is legal to own the animal and moved it to that place right away it should not violate any law. I'm not arguing that owning it in NJ is legal but rather that federal law trumps state law in cases like this. Now if the seller kept the animals in NJ overnight that would be different. Think about it this way. Imagine a seller from New Hampshire has some baby anacondas that he wants to sell at a show in Virginia and he is travelling by car. Would you suggest he must drive around New Jersey? The answer is no. He is taking his legally owned animals to a place where he can legally sell them. Interstate commerce. Federal law applies.

Mike sold the snakes to you, then purchased them from the person that shipped the box. So he made a profit without ever having to see the animals.

It is a common place in other business, and usually nothing is wrong it. However, in certain instances when the animals have a problem, or thier are things like feeding cards promised all the excuses and whatnot are lies. and the seller usually refuses to go good for anything unless he can get a refund from the original owner.

Thanks
ben

The place that shipped the snakes, their phone number was on the label and when I called it was a Stacker 2 Fat Burner Line.... Getting weirder
