• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone know "gracie" Diana Mason from Rare Earth Exotics

Simular experience

I had a very simular experiene with this individual 1.5 years ago. She was selling an adult female ball python which I agreed to purchase and promptly paid for via paypal. After agreeing to meet at a local show instead of shipping she emails me and said she can't attend the show and will ship. After weeks of no return emails or phone calls I call her mother and she said would relay the message. After a few more weeks I get my snake without notice sent through the post office in a plain box with no padding.
On a positive note the snake did produce 7 good eggs.

Thanks for the link, Dennis :). As I read it, ANY indiginous reptile, other than bullfrogs or snapping turtles, in PA can not be sold, traded, bartered etc. Any offspring from w/c indiginous reptiles (other than snappers or bullfrogs lol) fall under the same restriction.

I have a pair of non-native black rat snakes, a w/c MD male and a c/b het amel female from Dwight Good in KY Since black rats are indiginous to PA, I have to have proof that they come from out of state. I had emailed a biologist working for PA F and B a few years ago to get an idea of what i needed to legally sell non-native black rat snakes; her reply was a bill of sale from the person I received her from, in regards to the c/b female. For the male I would need a "permit" (might not be the word I'm looking for, I have the form somewhere around here) from MD DNR, as I recall, as proof. It has been a while since I looked into this, and since my male has exhibited ZERO interest in breeding it is kind of a mute point...

Hi Guys, she stated in her posts that the snake was legal, or at least that she thought so. As well, I agreed to purchase the snake prior to legal clarifications. I am totally unaware of PA laws on indigenous snakes. Being that Eastern Milks are also native to NY I thought little of honestly.

Anyway, I want my $50. back Her parents will get some more phone calls today, so will she. Tomorrow I file with the local Mail fraud dept with the DA. Call the Sherriff, etc.

Well fellas, it would seem she's come to her senses. She has finally responded and will suposedly make good as of today. We shall see what arrives in the mail tomorrow(fingers crossed) :D

my experience

I did a trade deal with "Gracie" last summer (05) with some snakes and dragons. We agreed to pay for the shipment of our own animals. The deal went well, and the animal I received was awesome. I left her positive feedback and everything. Then, a couple of weeks later, I received a bill from DHL for both shipments. I sent numerous emails and calls to "Gracie" to try and get her to fix her shipping billing "error". To this day, I have not heard back from her. After contacting DHL, they took care of the situation. Just seemed like bad business not fixing it herself, nor contacting me back after we had alot of communication, almost daily until I sent her a copy of the bill I received, then absolutely nothing. ***** BUT, in the end it was resolved and I got what I was promised, just alot of unneeded BS went along with it. Just my $.02.
