    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi,

Joel Acosta posted some cages a couple of months ago. I told him I"d take them at his price, and come pick them up. He agreed, then disappeared.
He posted them again yesterday. Since I'm outof town, I offered to pay him through Paypal so he could hold them till I get back (about 7 days). Once again, he agreed, but asked me to used someone else's email. Lotta red flags, I know, but I really could use the caging.
Does anyone know him?

I e meet him at the hamburg reptile show. And am waiting to get some black bloods off of him seems very stand up guy to me I wouldn't think twice about doing business with him
 
No. I couldn't have gotten hurt, though. It would have been a face to face transaction. It just seemed like more trouble than it was worth. The disappearing act killed it for me. Once he told me to come on over and buy the cages with no address or contact info, then didn't reply anymore, I decided to go another way.
 
Well, Joel and I finally got together. Turns out we were just misfiring on our communications all along. He's a great guy. I bought the cages from him. They are squeaky clean, and awesome.
I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to do business with Joel again.
