    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Matt has an air purifierin his shop. I have been at shop several times never saw excessive fecis. Give me a break I have 50+ snakes too there is always going to a cupple of cages with mess in them, he cleans his pens three times a week. What does it say about this mans morals if the place was so bad and he left his boa with him anyway.

I would not say something if it was not true.Just telling what I saw.I have NO problems with Matt,(just his cleansiness)The deal went good with him,the python was healthy,and I liked him as a person at first.I had a problem with the way he kept his animals at the garage.I am not here to bash him,someone asked and I replied.The few snakes and cages that were at his house looked satisfactory clean,and that is where the trade was done.Mind you ,I never went to his "shop" yet at this point.We went across town to the garage or "shop"and that is where I totally thought different of him after seeing the nasty cages.If he cleans 3 times a week,then why is there mold on some piles(Matt called it I beleive,"s##t issues")THIS IS WHAT ME AND MY WIFE SAW.Now as far as my morals go,Like I said already,the deal had already happened, I had traveled a long distance,the coral albino I traded him was on the other side of town at his house(where it was a lot more cleaner).I now regret doing that trade,but there is nothing I can do know.So Craig,now that I am done saying what I saw,lets get back to the main subject to this thread.

It might be useful if you filled in a few details and provided a bit of a timeline. For instance: How were the animals shipped? What were the temps on either end the day of shipping? When did you first notice symptoms in the animals? How quickly did they progress? It is a little difficult to follow your posts. i know you are angry but a detailed calm description of the mechanics of the deal would be very useful.

I kept and bred boas for several years and have a number of close friends that keep large pythons as well. I have never heard of anyone maintaining a facility at an ambient temp of 70 degrees. My colubrid buildings are maintained at 82 and the facilities of colleagues specializing in Boas and Pythons are usually maintained at stable temps of 80 or better. 70 degrees ambient in a building designed for Boids is just begging for problems that are not limmited to RI's. That statement alone lends a lot of credence to Ray's claim that the animals were sick upon receipt.


My only question to you is how were the animals shipped? Knowing how prone Burms are to RI's, anyone who would ship an adult by any other method than Delta Dash during the winter is not only negligent, they are downright foolish.

the snakes were shipped north western..i noticed the male on arrivel,,called matt he said that the male had alwayed made that sound,,and that it was normal...which is not,,..
i then started to see alot of bubbles coming from the females mouth,,,so i took two of them to a vet,,than i took than for a second examine with a different vet,,both vets told me that these snakes were deathly sick...and needed long term shots, and hopefully they will make a 100%recovery...i then noticed blood coming in bibbles from my other female he sent me...so i did like wise!!!! two vets have told me that there is no way possible that these snakes got this sick in # 1 south florida temp..and number 2 this far progressed into their sickness....both vets told me that these snakes have been sick for longer than 2 months, atleast!!!...but their symptons and by their test results!!! so who do i believe!! they are kept in vision cages at my house,, cleaned and checked every day,,and heat varies from94 on the hot end and 85 on the cooler side.....ive had them for almost a month,,when i got the vet results i called matt from the vets office....the one male also has bad mouth rot in the back of his mouth...two of the female have broken blood vessels in their eyes,,and one of them has a swollen eye,,,very bad......i didnt want to spend 2000 dollars for sick snakes,,they were sold to me as ready breeders!!!with no sickness, and he said they had just been checked!! where is the proof??? iu also talked to a guy who saw these snakes and the dirty cages they were kept in!!!

Probably because your "cousin" posted a message using one of the same IP addresses you have. Seems rather curious that both you and your "cousin" share IP addresses and both have had runins with the same person. I know, don't tell me. Your cousin came over to your place and used your computer to register and post here. That's it, isn't it?

Well how about this? If either yourself or your cousin post another new thread about this same topic on here, I will simply fine and suspend you both. I think that is fair. Then you "both" can compare notes about what you did wrong on this site.

1.) Your cousin lives with you
2.) Your cousin also has a reptile business
3.) Your cousin has a reptile business with a name similar to your own.
4.) Your cousin has also had poor dealings with Matt
5.) Your cousin types in exactly the same style that you do.
6.) Your cousing makes the same gramatical and spelling errors you do.....
