No, I have never dealt with Drew. But you posted he was selling, and I quote:

Here is how his ad reads:

Salmon Colombian Red Tail Boa 100% hetero for albino/hetero for ghost male

He is supposedly selling a salmon boa 100% hetero for albino (that makes him hetero for sunglow), but then he is also adding "hetero for ghost". The hetero for ghost animal has to be an hypo/salmon that carries the anerythristic gene.

He mentions in his ad that the father is a Kahl albino and the mother a salmon. In short if that is the case, it's an hetero for sunglow and nothing else.

The price is about right for a nice looking salmon, almost "too good to be true" for an hetero sunglow...

Different snake different mother? Same snake in the pic. You also have this same snake on another auction as a female. It's the same snake in the pics in your auction before. Seriously, am I missing something here?? Also I'm not clear on where the anery gene is coming from. Do you mean het sunglow instead of ghost? -Chris

I wasn't going to buy this snake but wanted everyone to know that this guy is selling 5 - 10 snakes per week on reptibid.

Is drew for real? could be a honest mistake?

I know Jon Brady had a problem with him in the past, and I guess his father is the owner of the business.

He "MAYBE" selling normals as Hets as well?

Of course I have no facts to back this up but time will tell in 2 -3 years if thos het babies produce babies.

Drew has had good reviews on repibid!!!!!

I'm sorry Drew if I'm out of line here, just protecting the herpers industry.

So he posted a picture of the wrong hetero for sale?

In my opinion he han be as honest as they come, but when dealing with heterozygous animals you have to be very careful with what you are claiming them to be. If he mistakenly picked up the wrong picture, who can assure the buyer that at the end he will be getting the snake with the right genetics?

I live in tampa and bought the salmon 66het albino from drew two weeks ago. I met him personally to pick the snake up. He is a mid aged guy and looks as honest as they come. In the kinda german accent he speeks with he sounds like he doesnt know to much but he hinted that the backbone is his partner that actually houses and breeds the snakes. My salmon I bought I am extremely happy with and he did come with a paper that had my snake printed in color listing the mother and father and the breeder that produced them. For instance the father was an f2 salmon from basically boas and the mother was from there facility and was a proven het breeder. I researched a ton of his animals he was selling and it all added up that he wasnt lying.
So all in all from my experience it was good.

I won a mandarin phase Sanzinia from Drew at Reptibid last week before all of the hets he now has posted. Either he doesn't have a clue regarding boa morph genetics or there's some miscommunication going on by what he's stating. Possibly a language barrier? He's supposed to ship my animal out tomorrow for Tuesday delivery. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Hi everyone,well I am glad someone posted inquiring on Drew,because I was going to.I just made a deal with him yesterday for a couple of DH Sunglows.I spoke with him on the phone and he seemed like an honest,very nice guy.Just tough to understand because he is Hungarian.From what I understand he normally works with locality boas.So I don't think he really knows what the going rate for morphs is.If he does,maybe he's just trying to unload alot of snakes fast I don't know,but if he is a scammer he is very convincing.He sent me pics of the two DH Sunglows and he is sending pics of the parents,so we'll see what happens.He also mentioned to me that they could be het ghost(which I also found odd),so maybe the female salmon is a ghost,because he did mention something about an anery in the bloodline.But there is definately a language barrier.We tried to communicate via email,but I wanted to talk to him so I emailed him my # and he called me immediately.And by talking to him I believed him to be honest(you can normally tell when someones full of shi#$#)but these days you never can tell.Also there were good feedbacks on reptibid which made my decision to deal with him,and thanks to everyone who posted,the posts definately make me feel better about dealing with him.

Well they better be at least DH Sunglows,so I'll find out in a few years.If they aren't,I guess I'll be making a trip to Pinellas FL to collect a refund for two DH Sunglows and 2 years worth of feed and upkeep!LOL!!
But seriuosly,from what I have read,Drew has a decent facility,and so he will most likely be around in a few years when these animals breed,so I am sure I can find him if there are any problems.And I even read a link to a post where a customer was very disappointed with a deal they made with Drew and he was very reasonable about the situation and in my opinion,he handled it very well.So this shows me he is an honest person.

The female salmon can't be a ghost. A female salmon can have the genes for anerythristic and then yes, she is hetero for ghost.

So much effort to this guessing game, but nobody takes just a couple of minutes to send me an e-mail and ask? My e-mail address was all over the adds. Talking about people behind they back without knowing the facts ... so typical of this board. I have nothing against you guys most of you try to be fair, but this is like a guilty verdict without a trial. Did any of you noticed the feedbacks about my snakes? So many happy customers can't be wrong. I made some mistakes but newer try to lie for a profit. I'm a very passionate hobbyist, and not doing this for the money. My wife posted these adds for me. She is not a snake expert, just wanted to help me out. I'm traveling a lot servicing food packaging machinery. The info about the babies came from my partner/the breeder of these snakes/and he sometimes forgot to talk about basic facts. Not every body as good with genetics as he is.
One more thing.
Some of you looking for the anery gene in these animals. Well, go back to the original adds and you will find it.
Almost forgot, the snakes being sold. So sorry to keep you all busy for nothing.

My apologies if it came out the wrong way. It was never my intention.

The only thing I stated, was that there was no way you could have an hetero for ghost by breeding a Kahl albino and a salmon. You will obtain 50% hetero for sunglow and 50% hetero for albino.

It would have been very important to correct that ad because it was there for everyone to see, and speculate on your knowledge about what you were breeding. If you didn't mind correcting the mistake yourself, why would anyone would want to e-mail you and ask you to do it?

A question was asked in this board and it was responded as fairly as it could be by just reading at what you have posted in your ad.

Whenever dealing with heterozygous for any trait one has to be VERY careful with what he posts. A person might be buying that snake from you with the intention of producing ghosts. What will happen if after 3 years he produces only salmons and normals instead?

Hope you understood my point.

That also is why I was not scared about purchasing mine off of drew. And I am still very happy with the animal which was over 600.00 and im not complaining a bit. I was one of his positive feedbacks on reptibid and I will say again I met him personally when I got my salmon from him and he was a great guy, exactly on time and was very professional. Not that it is a big deal at all he even gave me the rubbermaid enclosure it was in to take it home in instead of a snake bag! I would buy off of him again and I have been seriously thinking about it lately.
