• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Forget it. Completely typical Nigerian scammer.

People from the UK typically can actually speak english, lol.

He hit me up this morning too - Not much for changing the wording of the e-mail around is he.

What he is going to do is ask you to do him a big favor & accept a money order for a thousand dollars or more over your asking price for your animal.. This will be a fake money order that looks very authentic (i have seen one).

Then he will ask you to give his over payment to his shipper when you comes to your home ot pick up the animals... Then all you have left is a fake money order.. And, who knows what the "shipper" or whoever shows up at your home does with the animals???

It's a very old scam.. but, i guess it works sometimes because when i have ad's up on K.Snake i get at least one of these scam email a day..

Actually.....the "shipper" never shows up.

You are asked to cash the money order, then wire the extra amount back to him by Western Union. By the time the MO bounces, you are out the "overpayment" you wired to him.

That's the one bright spot in this, they never actually show up to take the animals.

Yes i have been asked to fedex the overpayment back too... and, for my "trouble" he told me to keep $25.. Wasn't that so nice of my potential scammer?

I guess I never actually got to the point of letting the shippper come to the house... but, on several occasions I was asked to give the money to the shipper..

Same scam either way though..
