In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone working with Danny Bristow Stripe Boas

We have a male stripe from Danny. There is another member here, I believe his SN is RickC, has a female from Danny.

Bryon,
That male is amazing. Has he ever bred for you? I bred my 06 Danny bristow male this year.. I was a little confused with the results. I got no stripes just normals.

I am trying to find out how the genetics work from other people that keep this line...

Thanks for your time

Back when I was interested in pursuing this line of Boa, I had communicated with Rick C, and obtained the email address of the founder. The founder was more then happy to send me all of his records concerning his breeding efforts of this line.

Unfortunately, I'm a disorganized type of person, and don't know where I put them, so I can't share with you. But I'm sure he'd share it with you too if you asked.

It would appear to act like a form of dominance, although it was all done through selective breeding. A similarity would be like how the Pastels work if I read his stuff right.

Nicole, we bred our boy to a nice pastel female, so far it doesn't look like she took :shrug01: So, we have to wait until next year.

Sorry that you'rs did produce any stripping. Most of the folks that got Danny's animals produced some amount of stripping.

If I remember right, Rick C bred his female to a hypo and got right around 50% or better striped babies. Danny considers his line progressively dominant. The better the striping, the better the babies. Next year we should have a better idea if our boy goes again.

Thanks Everybody
I wrote Danny and he wrote Back with a Breeding that someone did.

The female was a full stripe and the Male was hypo with a stripe tail.
It might be Rick C.

You never know if the Stripes out of that litter came from the Hypo Father.

How many lines of Salmons make full stripes Pc,abby, cyclone, cherry ect.
For the Most part they Produce stripe even if bred to normals..

I wanted to hear from other people who are working with the line.

Thanks for the space everyone

I don't know how many of those was started with an already proven line of stripe. Some folks do 1 breeding with a known & proven line and rename it just because they outbred it. I'm not saying they all did but until I see some info on how some of those originated, I won't say they are new lines.

I know of 2 big breeders that did it. I'm sure other folks have followed suit.

I know what you are saying about people making there own lines with already proven lines.

I keep this updated if i find anything else out.
We never know what was going on with the salmon male..
