Subadults are the in-between size well on their way to being breeding adults.
These are a great way to ease into owning an adult.
They are hard to find at this time of year. I have them because I do not rely wholesalers or breeders for my inventory. As with most species, the majority of learning occurs after infancy as the brain grows and develops. All tegus share the genetic makeup that makes them so special.
Tameness and curiosity are not traits that can be bred. Tegus learn as they grow.
