EDIT: After working with her extensively, I've determined she seems to have some sort of anxiety disorder. By working with her I have been able to make some progress and have decided I will most likely keep her. BUT. I still want a blue tegu. Prefer female but male is fine if you think you have the perfect therapy tegu for me. Please no grossly fat tegu with huge jowls. Friendly is a must. Adult preferred or very tame and social younger tegu. I would do trades of an Xbox 360 Call of Duty edition, ball pythons or boas I have listed. I have cancer and am going away for treatment on the 16th until early September, I won't be able to field many if any replies during that time but please understand that wouldn't mean this ad is no longer relevant. I will write clearly when that is the case that I have found the tegu I'm looking for

I got this girl as a pet. And she's sweet and tame but she's terrified of everyone and everything in my home. She's always rushing off to burrow places. I was hoping for a more social tegu that I could actually spend time with. I'm allergic to cats and dogs, so I'm looking for a tegu as a therapy animal to spend time to help distract from my physical illness.
She does have a minor burn on her top left shoulder area, she arrived with it but I didn't initially realize it was even a burn until my vet pointed it out. Just seems like an unusual spot in her coloration.
I'm asking $200 shipped for her.
Side note: If anyone has a tegu that they think could actually work for what I need, let me know, as I would do a trade for the right tegu or would buy one but please describe your tegu's social habits. I know with time I could probably eventually teach this female to calm down but time is something I may not have.
