In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks for sharing those Clark. The group in section #2 are my favorites. Can you tell me what the first (white) looking rattlesnake is from group #2?

Great pictures, great composition.

Thanks Robert

It's a female white speckled rattlesnake. Speckled rattlesnakes are for the most part the color of the rocks/ground they live in. There are many different colors of specks in Arizona.

all mine

Eight of them are field herping pics. The rest are at home, but all the pics and the snakes are/were mine. The Gila pics were all in the field.

Great looking C.M. Molossus and C.M. Pyrrhus, definitely looking to find a white locale of Speck this year.

Btw, you've got some kahunas holding that Coral freehand.

Thanks Derek

the only time I have seen Arizona coral's try to bite is when they are first encountered in the field. Even than I've watched them struggle to envenomate banded gecko's, and their skin is a lot thinner than mine. But it is always a risk. Love their color but they are a pain to keep. For me anyway.

I completely believe you, but I personally wouldnt be able to justify the risk. Especially since A/V is appearently in short supply for these guys and near expiration (last time I checked).

I would definitely love to have one though, I gotta admit Id be tempted if I ever found one. However Ive heard the same thing you mentioned in regards that they are hard to maintain in captivity. Is it just their feeding habits that make them a pain?

Thanks, Clark!

Thanks Derek

Arizona coral's are a pain because they only like other small snakes some localities will eat banded gecko's and other things but for the most part small snakes with blind snakes being there favorite. Like chocolate! LOL
