Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just responded to you..and don't even think about dragging me into this...this whole thing is NONE of my business, I have my OWN opinion just like everyone else does..I find it pretty bad that you would post something i told you in a PRIVATE message on this thread...If you wanted information for yourself..I would be willing to answer more questions..Bout now that i know you're going to be posting what i said in private on this thread..Don't bother asking me anymore questions...it's none of my business and i don't want any part of it..Cause it doesn't matter what i say..Everyone is going to have their own opinion..So once again keep me out of it...
 
And also..i heard about something going around about MY OWN collection...and so i wanted to clear this up for a few people that like to talk about someone behind their back instead of asking me up front like a mature person would do...i do NOT have mites and i haven't for years...1 time i did have mites it was only one 1 snake that i had rescued. There is nothing wrong with my collection...i am 100% about this...People have seen my collection and know how well i care for them..You can even ask Ben Rogers for me..I'm pretty sure if there was any chance something was wrong with my collection he would NOT sell to me..I also have alot of people who would back me up on this..so don't even bring me into this..As for Ashley...I've been to her house many times and have seen her collection many times...She WAS treating then for mites because of some bedding she had got..The same thing she told most of you..
 
Even though the info in those PMs is relevant here, I do believe the screen name of the other party should have been censored to if she did not ask for this to be posted here.

But... mites are mites. No matter what substrate is used. And they all came from the same source. Ashley.
 
She knew the snakes had mites but sold them anyways?that makes her a bad seller right there on top of everything else so far.
 
Once again i am not going to get into this or be dragged into this...but i would not be handling her animals if i knew there was something wrong with her collection..And alot of people who know me well know it...I find it pretty sad that my name has even been mentioned when i have NEVER had any problems with my animals..and ive had snakes for 10 years..so once again do NOT drag me into this.
 
I know this thread isn't about you, but can't you understand how people could be concerned about your collection when Ashley has been so dishonest and careless, and for some time now you've both been all over rtb.net about you being her right-hand-man handling her snakes all the time?

I can understand being upset at being one more person having the integrity of their collection being called into question due to the lovely miss Caspillo's selfishness, but I think your anger is misplaced here.

So I re-read the PM posted by Elizabeth. It appears Crystal does not have mites, but was stating where they might have come from in Ashley's collection. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sorry your name got dragged into this Crystal. The evidence in this thread is overwhelmingly against her, and it is not a coincidence that two customers of hers both have discovered mites in the same time period.
 
I assure you there is nothing wrong with my collection...I'm not stupid...it doesn't matter if the other persons collection is bad or not...i do NOT handle someone elses collection and then handle mine without disaffecting first...Ask me any question you want...but please do not bash on me behind my back like a child, especially when i would be willing to give information about anything...but if i never checked this thread i wouldn't even know that i was being talked about..and i find that pretty bad that some people would do that...Which makes me not even want to talk about anything at all..Just because i know i'm just going to be bashed on by some people behind my back..Even when i have NEVER done anything wrong and NEVER had any problems with my collection.

Actually most of this thread is based on FACTS that came straight from Ashley's own posts. Sure everyone has an opinion on those facts but the FACTS remain whether you want to read them or just pretend they don't exist doesn't change them.

Whatever Ashley was doing to "treat" for the mites was clearly NOT effective since she had them numerous times in the past 2 years. It was apparently addressed by friends more recently..and now there are snakes that were sold with mites..Which indicates a chronic problem.

WTH does it matter HOW the mites got there?

Is that another one of those "redirecting the blame" defense techniques of hers? The mites were there, they came with her snakes, did she BOTHER to tell ANYONE before shipping she had mites??
No. She came across as a knowledgable, reputable seller. Clearly she isn't.
 
I was asking if you had mites for my own knowledge, and would not have mentioned you IF YOU DID NOT LIE ABOUT WHERE ASHLEY'S MITES CAME FROM FOR HER. That is why I posted the PM's on here, it was blatantly obvious you were covering for her. I'm not saying your collection has mites, I don't know what Qtine practices you use, I was asking for the sole purpose of finding out about the snakes ASHLEY sold.

LOL When did i lie?! i said she got them from bedding..Which she did..How is that lying? Please tell me...and no my collection does NOT have mites...I am not mad about you asking questions, Thats fine...what i am mad about is how you would drag someone into this who has never done anything to any one of you..and showing things i have said in private..to me..its kind of disrespectful to mention my name or show my name...like i said..if u wanted to tell people what i said..BLOCK OUT MY NAME

Yeah "looking fine" doesn't mean squat when it comes to illnesses, parasites & diseases like IBD, unfortunately.

Rachel thought her snakes "looked fine" untill she looked under some scales and out popped mites.
I've had snakes "look fine" and roll the next day.

Ashley sold snakes on the assumption they "looked fine".

Please don't assume the same with her snakes and wind up with a problem yourself. You have some great snakes as well and I really don't want ANYONE to have to deal with this. Unfortunately people ARE, but the lesser the better.

Sorry, not calling you out for that statement, just pointing that out.
 
I understand completely...But Ashley got biopsies on the snakes that have died...and there were no signs of IBD...So how would you explain that? I am not trying to start anything with any of you..But i am curious how someone could say someones collection had IBD when there is no proof that she did..
 
Most people here haven't been bashing you, that I've seen. Unfortunately, the community does judge you by the company you keep. I feel for you that you really seem to have been convinced Ashley was responsible, and you genuinely wanted to help her out while she was preggo/ the only adult in the house.

From what I can tell, you tried to do right by a fellow herper and it is biting you in the butt because she has been dishonest. I really think if you try to hold your temper (believe me, I understand it would be hard in this situation) and answer any questions honestly, you are not going to come out of this looking bad. If anything, I see you as another of Ashley's friends who was victimized.

Crystal, you're out of your league here. There were no biopsies done on the other snakes that we are aware of that specifically test for IBD. I can understand if she lost them, but if she has the hard copies she needs to scan/post them here to prove they did not test positive.. So far this has not been done.

Your name should have been censored, that much is true. The first post of this entire thread is proof of the IBD postive necropsy. ANYONE with a brain would stop breeding and buying animals if ONE animal tested positive for IBD.
