    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Ashley Elliot "Balls1313"

I originally requested pics of both the adult female lessers she advertised( for unbelievable prices I might add). She sent me the smaller lesser pic first and then apologized for forgetting to send the pic of larger one and short while later she sent the pic of the pastel calling it the larger lesser female she had advertised.
 
Ive seen these prices before from importer scammers. They come up with some BS story and have 800-3000k snakes and priced a quarter of their value.

Always run when you see these prices. Unless you know person well enough
 
Could a mod please revive and lock the Banana ad I also remember looking at? It was there one minute and gone the next.

I can't say without bringing a lot of personal junk into this that may involve minor children, but after some digging, I do believe there could be a definite connection between Ashley Elliott (Hunter is not her last name) and a Fauna user by the name of "tat84"/Derrill Geller.
 
I'm local in FL and was interested in a few animals she was posting as well. I've had correspondence through email with her and has given me everything I've asked for thus far. She has been somewhat slow to respond, but given my situation, so have I.

IF I'm able to work something out with her and pick anything up locally, I will repost on here and let you all know how it went down. Obviously after reading everything on here, I won't be making any payments in advance of picking anything up.

I'll continue watching this thread closely as more develops. Thanks all for posting your experiences. For those of you who put deposits down, hopefully you get your money back easier than not.
 
After receiving the mish-mosh of pics she sent, I asked for some fresh shots all on the same background, which she couldn't provide. She told me that was to much work since her snakes are in every room in the house. I had mentioned that she could use a white sheet or towel...very portable....and that's when things went south. I've saved all emails as well as all pics she sent(most were to large to upload) if anyone is interested.
Common sense dictates that anyone who has a breeder pastel banana should in no way need money to help give her kids a decent Christmas.

Ashley sent me a refund for the deposit I left in the form of an echeck through Paypal which bounced this morning. She is claiming that this is no longer her problem (that she wiped the money out of her paypal/ bank account) and it is now in the hands of paypal.
 
I hope you put a claim in with PayPal, they are quite good at recovering money. The very least a paper trail will get started on her. I hope you didn't lose too much cash on that deposit
 
I started a claim with her witch was found in my favore. Paypal stated I will see my refund within 7 business days. I let y'all know if I get it.
 
I have a feeling you are in the same boat I'm in. PayPal keeps trying to remove funds from her account but she was smart enough to wipe it out as soon as it hit her bank.
 
After looking at the pics and the ad that was shown on this thread it def screams scammer. I have found that most ads like that are scams. thats one reason why i dont really buy anything unless i can physically see it in person. I know there are a lot of honest people out there selling stuff but after having been scammed myself twice i dont take any chances
 
she's still on here as of april 30 and advertising the same balls which takes a lot of balls !!!!! want to know why she or he are still on here being able scam honest people out of there money !!!!!!!

What happens from there? Will paypal eventually take the loss and give you your money back or are you just SOL?

Was it funds right out of your paypal or was it a credit card attached to paypal account or does that not make a difference?
 
I'm not sure what paypal will do.....they may still issue my refund and go after her. I will wait the 5-7 days they said it would take but in the meantime I've already put in a claim to my credit card company.
 
I have talked with paypal they said since she said that she would refund my money that she has ten days from the time of my claim to do so after that they told me if she doesn't return it that they will refund the money then go after her !!!! they also told me that paypal doesn't cover live animals and im lucky she said she would refund what I sent so they will honor the refund if she doesn't !!!! people like her are what make this rough on sellers who are legit !!!! as fare as im concerned she's trash and what goes around comes around and in time she will get hers !!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Before buying any animal posted (unless you personally know the seller) ALWAYS ask for a new picture :
1) on a newspaper showing the date and headline.
2) with a scale and animal showing the weight
3) and your name written on the newspaper where you can see it in the pic.

Overkill? Maybe but an honest seller will not hestitate to comply.

Not 100% true.

I know plenty of reputable people who would find that to be too much trouble.

I've been denied just a quick updated pic of animal with nothing fancy asked for in the photo. It was not a scam. They eventually sold the animal to someone else, but I chose to go somewhere else because of the lack of updated photo.
