    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He's not even worth the price of a good strong rope. What a shame! I think this moron speaks volumes about our educational system in the US. I always assumed his generation would all be smarter than your average run of the mill Nigerian scammer.

Oops, did not read the post that the thread was cut and pasted here. :shrug01: Perhaps a mod can change the header to BOI format,so people can know who it's about?
 
Just joined the site recently and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to you folks for exposing people like this. I have been in and out of the hobby for about 15 years and just now started to get into the higher end stuff. I have always bought my stuff in person from friends or at shows. I am considering buying some stuff on the net more often, but after seeing this kind of stuff, I am extremely wary. So far the few things I have bought have showed up, but I am looking at some larger purchases but don't want to get burned.

Thanks again for looking out for the hobby.

Kris, there are plenty of really good and well respected sellers on the net. Please don't let this incident scare you off form internet purchasing. This why the BOI was created for sellers goo and bad to get their recognition for what they are.
 
I am glad I did not deal with this guy a couple months ago. He had posted this ad http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86594 and I was interested in the female albino patterless but he just wanted way to much. After I told him it was out of my price range he started e-mailing me over and over droping the price by like ten dollars like that was going to help. I just was not going to pay $800 for an albino green female. Anyway he finally gave up on me when I stopped responding she was a pretty snake but now I wander if he even had her :shrug01:

I ended up getting to great looking babies for less then the one he had or mabye didn't have one male albino green het for granite(bebos-burms) and a female albino het for green( aereptilianendevours).

Damn I am glad I didn't let him screw me.

I inquired about an animal he had posted a few weeks ago, because he is in NJ Sicklerville, with is 5 min from me said he had a pet store I figured I would check him out, but he said he was moving to Baltimore MD that weekend so I couldn't go...I told him I was looking for a place to buy feeders, he gave me a name of another place not to far from me....and said they would take care of me.. FRIENDS of his.... never went there.... I never did find the store he supposedly had owned.... Basically he is just full of shit
 
I edited the title of the thread in order to make it a little more clear (at a glance) as to why it's on the BOI.

Heck...there are known scammers still operating today under different names and even their own names...it's all over the place...is anyone really surprised?

Once these loosers try to commit fraud on this site are they banned?

I did not want to bump up an old thread, but a member of my own forum was scammed by Kevin this week. Kevin posted a group of animals for sale on my site, claiming that his job was transferring him from MD to TN.

The member purchased a 100% het albino boa from Kevin. Kevin had a friend deliver the snake from MD to NC. The snake showed up covered in mites and with mucus coming out his mouth and nose.

Kevin has done nothing except deny the snake was sick or that it had mites.

The other suspicious thing was that he posted his animals for sale because he is moving to TN. A week later, he acquired a pair of leopard tortoises. If he wanted to sell his animals so that he didn't have to move them, then acquiring large torts would be counterproductive.

I was not aware of this thread until a post on my own forum appeared yesterday morning that read "Do not do business with black phoenix/Crimson Exotics."

"black phoenix" is the handle he goes by nowadays. I will post any further developments.
