OK First I completely understand why Australia stopped all exportation of its indigenous wildlife.
(im heavily into jungles so it may be bias to jungle carpets)
I love Morelia pythons! I just have been looking at pictures of wild jungle carpets and other Australian pythons and noticed that they look almost completely different! In the way that most US "localities" are all just generic now. I know why there are some purist but i still feel like we lost the true look of local specific carpets. Me personally i hope to obtain some pure jungles if i can.
Well here is what im going with this! I hope im not the only who fells like i do when i say i wish Australia would allow the exportation of Documented Captive bred animals. Not wildlife but captive bred animals so that it wouldnt affect they wildlife.
This would allow for more Purist among US breeders and It would allow new bloodlines, Reenforce the crosses and high end morphs with untainted genetics, and plenty of more possibilities including unlocking some hidden genes/ genetic variances and mutations. Also allow a couple of new species to become available.
I was thinking about contacting the US Ambassador to Australia Jeff Bleich
But i feel this might will be just a lost cause but idk maybe if enough people raised their voice maybe somebody might listen.
