In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just hatched today, I'm thinking it is a snow enigma, anyone know? Whatever it is I love it! ..came from super snow male and either enigma (het raptor) female or snow female but from the little bit of research I've done, I've pretty much ruled out it coming from the snow female. I'm super excited to see what its clutch mate looks like.

it has flecks of vermiculite on it

black eyes!

Looks like a Snow Enigma to me, so i'd say that the Enigma het Raptor is the mom. Which would make this little one a Snow Enigma possible het for RAPTOR. Congrats!

But wait a second now i'm second guessing myself. The eyes....but then again I've seen some Mack Snow Enigmas born with solid black eyes. So i'm still going with that!

:iagree:
As far as eyes I've seen mack babies hatch with what look to be solid black eyes, but they fade by the first couple sheds. Or, is it possible the Super snow male is het eclipse? not very common, but could be a possibility. I guess time will tell.

Not sure.. the person we got the dad from didn't know much about them.

Unfortunately at this time, the husband and I are saving up so we can move. I do have pay pal though. How much were you wanting for one of them?

Think I'm wanting to hold onto the first born, at this time i don't even know what to ask for them, I will usually hold onto them for about a month at least, I'm weird about letting them go to early, I have to "feel" like they're ready lol. let them get some size on them and get their tails fat. I think I will wait 'till I can sex them. I incu all of my eggs for female, but i do high as i can - 82, and every now and then i see it tip to 83 so most likely female but u never know

the first leo I got was a female, got it as a tiny baby at the LA Reptile show at last min when everyone was packing up, and she is the only one I have no eggs from, I think she's about to lay some soon, shes a porker so its hard to tell when she's about to lay just by looking, but all of her's i've actually gotten into the incu have molded and she burys hers in the sand so unless i'm paying close attention to her I miss them and they dry up, I've swaped males with her also but I'm starting to wonder if she's just not fertile. She around two years now.

Do you keep your male in all the time? If not you could be missing the window of opportunity and if you do I would try taking him out for about a week and re-introducing him to her???

mine is just a bit older, I got her in 05'. She will lay eggs, bury them in the sand, and they dry up, but I have gotten to them before they got buried, and they would be brown and some what translucent. I think she may be infertile. I have tried with 2 different males.

I've never seen brown eggs... but this is only my 2nd season with leo breeding and the 1st wasnt super successful, I had two females and only hatched 1 clutch, like I said Tilli's eggs all molded and my snow stopped laying all of a sudden, I started gut loading my mealworms, and it took her about 4-5 months to start laying again. But this season is going to be pretty good I've hatched 3 now, the two from this thread and one other (I lost his clutch mate when we moved.. i tipped the eggs :(, luckily i got the one back in the right position quick enough. I have 10 eggs left in the incubator right now.

I would love to Chikita to give me a clutch, but all I ever get is one or 2 eggs, and they all fail. (I tried to post pics for you to see my male and female, but for some reason my comp is not recognizing the mem card from the camera, I will try with my new web cam tomorrow)
