    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Awesome news!

Spot is done with the antibiotics! WOOHOO! I don't know if the RI is 100% gone yet, but it's very close.

Also, he ate!! :dancer01: If this doesn't prove he's a fighter, I don't know what does. Not only that, but he ate 2 F/T :eatpointe :eatpointe !!!! He scared the CRAP outta me when he struck the first time. All it took was a bit of teasing. :) He swallowed it rear first, for whatever reason (and didn't constrict either).

He was pretty quick about #2 as well!

I do have a question though...he got these down fast, do you think they are too small? It only took about 2 minutes per mouse. However, they did leave bulges. He's a bit thin after this ordeal, so I'm having a hard time telling what a good size meal would be for him.

I think he's earned a few days rest! It's soooo awesome that he took F/T!

for a snake that's been sick, you might want to keep him on that size for a little bit. (I don't know if feeding him three of the same size would be too much, but you could try and feed three every other feeding if you are worried about his weight) balls are able to eat adult mice at a pretty young age, so when he's all better, you could switch the size up to an adult mouse. For now, just feed him on the size he is used to eating, sometimes a snake won't eat a larger looking prey becasue it looks too big and scary to eat. Congrats on his health! i hope you were able to deal with the problems at the store. Spot is a really pretty little snake and you have been an awesome owner to the little dude. Best of luck with the rest of his life, may it be long and filled with mice! :D

Shanti, that's great news. Oh, and I like the diagram depicting where in his tummy the two mice are. :hehe: I agree with what Jessi said regarding keeping the prey small after he's been ill. It seems to reduce the risk of regurgitation. Spot has been through quite the ordeal, as have you, and I'm glad to see he's doing better and has his appetite back! I think you did a great job with him.

Awwww, that's great Shanti!! Looks like you've gotten him well past the hardest part, and if he's eating that well after all he's been though, he's really a trooper!! :)

Yup, I'm pretty proud of him. After everything I've been doing to him, he still spends a great deal of time hanging out next to his hides instead of in them. He's a fighter alright.
