.....did NOT happen with this clutch Pied x het pied pairing and ZERO pieds If this female didn't give me 3 pieds last year, Id be questioning her genetics. Oh well, theres always next year and I still have another 8 egg pied x het pied clutch incubating.

At least you can log this one as evidence that one can breed a visual to a het and not produce visuals.

That might be the case Maybe a male normal found its way into my house and snuck in while the pied was out shopping

Ahhhh so YOU stole my odds from me Last year was her first year, I got 4 eggs and 1 slug, 1.2 pieds and 1.0 het pied

ok,, not bad,, nine eggs, three pieds, one short or not of 50%, but six hets and half of six is three which u got with the math, so to me it balanced out, so next year u should hit better odds again for sure if u breed parents again or try another pied male same female to see what happens,, its all a gamble on how the genes hits and averages...good luck next season, hope u crush odds then!!!!

Bummer, my buddy hit 2.1 pieds on a 5 egg clutch from het x het..It's crazy how you didn't get 1..You'll knock 'em out the park next year

dude...at least you got females...I had from pied x het pied this year 3.1 Hets born...same as you...she has produced pieds in the past...just not this year...lol....odds gods!!!!!!

Ok so I feel a little better with my 2nd pied clutch, 3.3 pieds, 2.0 het pieds . Odds of this clutch even out the last clutch (which is what I keep telling myself lol). They just had their first shed...first pic males, second pic females (except the het).

i know how you feel i had a 5 egg mojave x mojave clutch and did not get a blue eyed lucy but did get 1.3 mojaves and .1 normal
