    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So I did a search and didn't seem to find what I was looking for. I just started dealing with axanthics and all of the ones I have and am getting in are the VPI line.

I'm looking for info on the different lines, SK, Markus Jayne and any others. My main questions are:
Does anyone know if any of the lines are compatible with each other?
Have they been crossed with each other and kept their traits?

If there is a thread about this please direct me to it!
Any info would be greatly appriciated!

I have Jolliff, Jolliff have more banding than the others, as im aware, i do not believe they are compatible, and thats why the lines have remained distinct. But please! do not quote me on that as i ONLY prefer the Jolliff line!

Da "Moo is dead on about the different lines NOT playing nice with each other.
:yesnod:
The line she mentions produced the first Snows (Albino Axanthic a 1in 16 shot BTW), VPI lines & SK line are also nice... I've seen beauties from all 3. I chose the prettiest unrelated compatible pair I could find & it so happens they are the SK line. I have 1.1 pair that I've been breeding into other stuff to ultimately make Axanthic Fires & Bees. So if you decide to work with the morph just keep the compatibility issue in mind...

VPI is considered the best of the Axanthic lines because they retain the most "silver" color as adults. Most will brown out as they age and look like normals. Jollif, VPI, and SK are all distinct lines and are not compatible. I do not know if the MJ line is compatible with any of the others.

Here is one of my Pastel VPI girls. As you can see she is still very silver at around 1800 grams. She is in the middle of ovulation as of now and we are hoping to see some Axanthic Bumble Bees in this clutch.
