    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No it won't work at all that's 100% illegal to ship them to Cali. Why risk it? Please do not ask to buy Axolotls ever from that state. Never have and never will ship there. Seller and buyer can get jail time, fines and the animal will get killed. No thank you.

Find a LEGAL animal to keep in your state. No established seller of Axolotls will sell to you. Do not keep asking people. Word gets around. Find another animal or I recommend moving out of California so you can own Axolotls. Don't ask people to brake the law so you can have a pet that can't get proper care if it needs vet treatment.
