    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Howdy! I've kept ornate.desert boxies for awhile now, and after having a number of babies last year and again this year, need to "thin out" my herd. Amazing what 1 male can do with 4 females! :reddevil: All are rescues or captive-bred.

I have 2 boxie babies who are 1 year this month that are ready for new homes. I also have 7 hatchlings who popped up 8/13/10. All are eating well (a variety - romaine, prickly pear, meal worms, rolly-polly bugs, repcal), and just love to hide and dig down as babies do. They have been kept outside in a mesh cage, so are staying acclimated to the AZ temps.

I do not want to ship any of them, so if you are able to be in the Tucson area, let me know. I am asking a $75 rehome fee to ensure that they don't go to someone's snake for dinner. :NoNo:

All CB turtles are for educational or scientific purposes only.

LOL, an old wive's tale? I had heard years ago that because the baby turtles' shell was soft, people would feed them to snakes. Glad to hear that's not the case!

They are just beautiful. I can't talk my husband into a very long drive so if you are planning a trip to Southern California you have a buyer with a very loving educational home!
