    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently got a baby jacksons (he is about three weeks old) for free. I set him up temp in a 10 gallon tank. Got the UVB light and got the basking light and some live and fake plants. My only question is about feeding. Do I just put the crickets is the cage and let em roam and he will hunt em down? Or is there a better way of doing it. And also can you have too many plants? Take a look at my setup and tell me what you think.

Just drop the crickets in and he will hunt them down.Remember do not put in more than he can eat.I notice one other thing, Jackson's Chameleon need a screen cage to live a healthy life. The Aquarium will not provide the right ventilation he needs and will shorten his life. I breed Jackson's s for 10 years now.. If you would like i can send you a complete care sheet on them. Please email me and let me know.

Thanks and Good Luck
Ben

Not only do they need a screen cage, but they are a mountain species, so too much heat will kill them...about 83-86 degree basking spot, with night drops no lower than 64 degrees. They also like a daytime treat out doors....a little morning or afternoon sun does wonders. Flightless fruit flies are a good food source also. Enjoy your new baby!

The glass cage is just temp. Read that glass is ok for babies. I am well aware I need a mesh type cage and will be getting that very shortly.
