• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Baby Kenyan

Are you saying that it has not had its first shed yet and that it is 13 weeks old? If so, that seems like too much time. I know that BCI boas shed within like the first two weeks after being born. Beyond that, shedding interval will vary with how much and how often that you feed your snake.

Sorry forgot to mention it has had two shed before I got him. I had noticed that he had become chalky looking so I knew he must be going to shed but was uncertain how long it normally takes.
He has only eaten twice since I got him he is very hard to get to eat.

I have tried that and all the other tricks including braining and he just seems not interested in food. Does he need to eat once a week or are some just not big eaters???

I'll be honest i had issues with mine too. make sure his humidty isn't high at all. they very low low low humdity. But mine would eat ....sooner or later, yes you wanna feed that baby every 5 to 7 days.

Don't know much about Sand Boas, but being a Sand Boa, seems like lizards may be part of their natural diet. (sand = desert, and desert = lizards) Have you tried scenting the pinks with a lizard? Might work, I don't really know, but it's gotta be worth the try.

Sorry I don't know much about them to offer more help.
