In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hoping things go for the better with this pairing. Kinda hoping for a bunch of female pastels... I've got one now but... you can never have enough female pastels...

Thanks for looking! Got my fingers crossed! :)

Here's how I found my girl today at lunch... She looks like she honestly is getting ready to lay. I feel pretty confident about it. Her last third of her body is very round and very firm. Even in this picture you can just see there's suppose to be some eggs under her in the way that she's postured herself. :)

I'm really excited and this is my first breeding ever and I can't wait to see what comes out of it. Next year will be even better when my female pastel and reduced female are ready! I'll also have a het pied male ready to go as well that I think I'll couple with another female pastel to go for some pastel het pieds...

Here's a quick update on my girl here...

Nice pastel, and I really like that female in the top pics. She's gorgeous!

Thank you very much. Looking to add another 500+ gram female pastel to the roster here pretty soon. Looking to go for some pastel het pieds this upcoming season. :D

Well She did it! Last night she layed 7 Gigantic eggs for me last night. I couldn't believe it... I looked in her hidebox when I got him thru the glass to say hi to her and I just saw the last egg pop right out of her! Pretty intense! :D

Unfortuneatly though...

I couldn't find my camera until this morning.. and when I did the batteries were dead. What the F right? When I need it the most, oh well... :shrug01:

Anyways...The first 4 pictures are from the last couple of months leading up to just the other day. You'll have to wait until I get some batteries for the egg pictures but damnit they're coming! :yesnod:

Needless to say I'm siked... The wait for them to hatch isn't so much on my mind as it was waiting for them to be layed... Can't wait to see the outcome of odds. :D

Yes I am letting her Maternally incubate.

Her setup is optimal right now for a maternal incubation... I've got her right now on damp wrung out sphagnum moss...

I read a really good article that Bob Clark wrote in Reptiles magazines Called "hatching Pythons". There was a lot of good information and he spoke of how well pythons are as Mothers. I myself plan to produce more clutches later on... but this one first time I'm going to do a maternal.

I Have to say that it is absolutely gorgeous seeing her on those eggs. :D

I'm actually picking up a small dorm room sized fridge that I'm going to be converting into an incubator. Should easily be able to hold next years clutches. :D

That is AWESOME!!! I know I'll be just as excited when I breed my BP's and she lays eggs. Of course then I'll just be super impatient.
What a difference the flash on/off made in the pastel..

Yeah It's an exciting experience for sure! THe patience thing isn't bothering me so much now that the eggs are on the ground... I'm honestly looking forward to just seeing her on her eggs properly caring for them like a good mother. :D

Yeah it was a huge difference with the flash... had to post it because some pictures just really don't do him justice. I'm hoping the babies grow up to be just as beautiful! :)
