    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

promised a down payment to me after I worked out a payment plan with him. He then said he would send the money on Monday. I turned down another buyer in the mean time as he said he was buying them. Then he comes back to me and says money is tight and he is no longer going to buy them. Ya thanks I have all emails if any one is interested

Agreed, and in a matter of only 4 mins it worked out lol. sometimes it isnt a good idea to jump the gun because now you have this person in a thread posted as a bad guy and a bad buyer. now to only wait and see if the deal follows through.
 
Also, while it's a pain in the ass when someone backs out of a deal, I think it's a fairly common occurance. I don't think it deserves a bad guy post unless it's a common trait with the person.

:iagree: I have had multiple people do this. I think nothing of it, cause I do it all the time IN A STORE..pick something out, decide not to buy it..:rofl:

I would never do it to another breeder cause I know the time involved in working with a potential customer..but I don't mind when the casual buyer does it...perhaps later they will buy something! :)

Is this person a member here? Cause if he is, this may be viewed as a strong-arm tactic.

No one wants a bad guy post here, so if it was really an issue of "tight money"...I hope you are happy.
 
I have already put a rejuest in to have this deleted because I do feel bad for posting it. It was a misunderstanding on my part and I fully admit to it but heck we all make mistakes and hopefull you all do not hold it againse the buyer our myself for that matter. I do hope this can be settled and deleted.

as for it happening all the time a person back out; yes and I get that all the time, but I dont get a person telling me the money is sent and then say they changed there mind once told the items are being taken off the market for them and a full arrangement of payment is come to


but as I said this was a complete mistanke and I hope it can be fixed

Posts on the BOI are never deleted hence the need to not jump to conclusions. The BOI is a mixed blessing it is a great tool when one knows how to use it but it sure sucks when its used by people that dont understand it. Just think someone may put this guys email in to google and do a search and come up with this post where in turn you have dubbed him a bad buyer, kinda sucks for him right. I for one would like to hear how this deal got righted if in fact the guy was " tight on funds"?
 
Man, stuff happens sometimes, geez. Sometimes things more important than buying herps comes up. The guy let you know that something came up, do you know how many times people haven't let me know?! It doesn't mean you need to come running to the BOI about it. Lame.

If you pull an animal off the market before receiving a deposit or payment then you have no one to blame but yourself.

Ditto that.
I don't pull my ads till I see some sort of payment. I give the potential buyers 1 week to get that payment to me. When waiting for a payment and I have people inquiring about that snake I'm waiting for payment on I kindly tell them that, that snake is on hold at that moment and that if I do not receive payment in X amount of days I will call or send them a email to let them know.

It happens ALL of the time with people backing out of a sale. It doesn't make them a bad guy. Also ALL post on BOI are here to stay. Rich doesn't delete any of them tho if it doesn't fit here he will close it out.

:iagree: I just want to add that it works both ways. A Google on his name will also bring up hers and it will show/reveal what kind of seller she is.

*Apparently the kind that doesn't care if anyone is having money issues as long as she gets hers.:rolleyes:

The only boo-boo that I see, was on the seller's end. The buyer has a clean slate, as far as I am concerned.

:iagree: Deb your are so right hopefully any persons wondering about this buyer will read the thread rather than just saying "oh well he's a bad buyer, lets move on"
